Chapter 14

Mora was angry. Nah, she was pissed. She wanted to rip apart the barrier in front of her and that damn alpha apart. She fights the effect of the calming spell and grew even angrier. 

She once again slams against the barrier and growl. She claws at it until she made an opening, and quickly ran out straight into her mate's arms. Comfortable.

"Mora." The Luna calls out, and Mora growls, stopping in her tracks. She pulls away from Kaiden and turns toward the newcomers, discovering that it was her favorite couple. They actually dare to cage her.

The alpha stares down at her and she knew that he was trying to get her to submit. Oh, he wanted to play the Alpha games. She also releases her power and watches as he wavers. She grins and advances slowly taunting him as she ignores all outside noise and focuses on her prey. She had about 12 years of wolf experience. This measly Alpha was no one to her.

"Dad, you're not helping! Can you just get out? You've done enough!" Kaiden yells and Mora slowly circles her preys. She smells a third one behind the Luna, but she couldn't see it. He felt strange and reminded her of the feelings of magic. 

"Kaiden. Get over here! She is not in her right mind right now." The Alpha was on edge. Mora clearly didn't trust them. It was better to let her have her space until she calmed down.

These people... no... these hybrids needed to be punished. Who are they to imprison me without MY permission? Mora thought.  Kaiden could feel Mora's anger. he tries to get her to focus on him, but she keeps escaping and focusing on his parents.

"You're the one who's not in your right mind." Kaiden extends his hands toward her and she snarls. Mora takes a few steps forward watching the family. 

"Kaiden..." The Luna whimpers grabbing at her mate's shirt. She just wanted everyone to calm down. But, her yelling was not going to help this mess either.

Please. He begs. Let them go this one time. For me.

You do not know what you're asking, mate. Mora growls at him. They hurt me. They betrayed me and you expect me to let them go?

To say Mora was shocked was an understatement, she had expected Kaiden to understand how she was feeling but he wanted her to forgive them? She couldn't even take an arm?

 She blinks slowly and stops circling them all. Just then, the magician threw a binding spell toward Mora and she ducks with ease. 

"Stop it!" Kaiden yells to the hidden figure. Mora was on edge. Was Kaiden part of it? Kaiden kneels on the floor and opens his arms. 

"Kaiden! Get up!" His father yells too caught into his role. "You are the future Alpha. You bow to no one!" The luna inwardly screams in frustration. She pinches her mate's waist and he winces. You're not helping. She said to her mate via their bond.

Mora almost wheels back in shock. Why were they treating her like some sort of monster? Sure, she was mad and even considered carving them a new face but she would never kill anyone of them because they were her mate's parents.

"You are not helping, dad!" Kaiden smiles and sends calming energy through the bond. He was submitting and asking for forgiveness. Mora's muscles relax, but she suddenly jerks up. She couldn't let someone control her even if it was her mate.

 She snaps her jaw around her mate's extended arm and swang him over her back. She did the only thing she knew to do. She ran.
