Roman Prince had never gotten along well with his brother, Remus Prince. When they'd gotten their Hogwarts letters, it was an unspoken agreement that they wouldn't talk to each other, or even be in the same house. So, once they'd gotten on the train, they'd separated almost immediately.

Roman had walked around the compartments for quite a long time, until he found two people, both looking the same age as him. He opened the compartment door.

One was a tall and lanky redhead. Freckles dusted his pale face, which seemed slightly red and quite cheerful at the moment. His flaky locks of curly hair was untidy and messy, and his robes seemed dusty and slightly worn out. However, his grin and overall posture gave off a friendly atmosphere.

Facing him was another. He had midnight hair, which looked naturally unkempt. His fringe covered his forehead, but the tip of a scar seemed to show on the left. His bright emerald eyes shone behind his broken glasses. He also gave off a friendly personality, but it seemed slightly more timid and anxious.

"Is it alright if I sit here?" Roman asked.

"Sure." A redhead replied.

Roman decided on sitting next to the dark - haired boy, as he tried to smile faintly at them both.

"What are your names?" Roman asked.

"Ronald Weasley, but I'd prefer to be called Ron." The redhead replied.

"Harry Potter," the dark-haired boy confessed, shyly.

"As in, the boy-who-lived?" Roman asked, forgetting completely about tact.

"Yes, that's him." Ron replied, knowing Harry came from a muggle family where he wouldn't understand, "what's your name?"

"Roman Prince."

The rest of the ride was filled with chatting and laughing, until one point.

Suddenly, a tall blonde came into the compartment. Two larger boys stood diagonally behind him like bodyguards.

"Is it true?" He began, "they're saying all the way down the train that Harry potter's in this compartment. So it's you, is it?" The boy had obviously guessed, seeing how the redhead was obviously a Weasley, and not Harry Potter, and how Roman had a light brown hair colour with brown eyes, completely unlike the actual description of Harry Potter.

"Yes." Harry replied, though he was quite irritated at the three.

"Oh, this is Crabbe and this is Goyle." The blonde introduced, "and I'm Malfoy. Draco Malfoy."

Ron coughed, hiding a snigger. Roman looked quite annoyed at the blonde, having heard many stories of his family.

"Think my name's funny, do you?" Malfoy began. "No need to ask who you are. My father told me all of the Weasleys have red hair, freckles and more children then they can afford."

Roman scowled at his obnoxious attitude. While he was flamboyant himself, at least he wasn't arrogant and prideful. Draco Malfoy turned to Harry.

"You'll soon find out that some wizarding families are better then others. You don't want to go making friends with the wrong sort. I can help you with that."

"Technically, you'd just be helping him hanging with the wrong sort." Roman scoffed.

"Oh? Who would you be then, Mr. Sassy?" Malfoy stepped towards Roman.

"Roman Prince. And I'd prefer if you wouldn't go around being a prat to the people in this compartment. It's obvious you aren't welcome here, Malfoy." The blonde turned in his heels and left, his goons trailing behind him.
