Hints towards prinxiety

Roman was sick of it. It had been three days since Virgil had disappeared and he was done.

"I'm going to go find a way to get Shard out of his room." Roman finally exclaimed, in the dorm.

"You sure? Teachers have left it alone, so I doubt a student can do this." Ron asked.

"Actually, they just thought it was better for his mental health if he stayed undisturbed. Something about his anxiety being heightened right now, I think?" Neville corrected.

"It's better for his overall health if he goes out and tries getting over it. You shouldn't hide form your issues, they'll find you eventually." Roman stated. "Who's in?"

Silence.

"Fine! I'll do this by myself then!" Roman exclaimed, grabbing his red sash and wearing it over his white shirt. He took his wand out and put it in the pocket of his white trousers. Roman instinctively ran his hand through his brown hair. "Bye, guys."

Roman walked out of the room, determination fuelling him. He then realised something: he didn't know the password to the Slytherin dorms. He saw Remus and Deceit walking the halls.

"Hey! Stop! Wait up, you two!"

The two turned rapidly.

"What do you want, Roman?" Remus asked.

Roman noticed they were holding hands. That was a topic for later, he reminded himself.

"What's the password for the Slytherin common rooms?" He asked, timidly.

"Why do you want to know?" Deceit asked, about to get his wand.

"Calm down, Dee. I get it your mad but, torture him first. And make sure you use the cruciartus curse when you do. Also, make sure I'm there to join in the fine. But you'll need to wait until you're 17 so they can't track you." Remus warned.

"Fiiiiine!" Deceit groaned. "Only if you pay me back later."

"Oh, sure I will." Remus winked.

"Please... not now." Roman looked away. "I'm innocent!"

"How can we trust you to not mess up everything?" Remus asked.

"I swear on my magic I will not touch yours, Deceit's or any current dark sides things without permission. Or wreck the common room." Roman promised, showing his fingers were not crossed.

"Fine, then. Don't make me regret this. It's Salazar..." Remus replied. "Now go away, or else I will take out my wand."

Roman quickly walked away to the Slytherins Common Room. He said the password and entered. A few Slytherins looked at him strangely, but nobody had stopped him. Until...

"What are you doing here?" Remy demanded.

"U-Uhhh... Something?" Roman shrugged.

"Is it something about Virgil?" Remy lowered his voice.

"N-... Yes...?" Roman responded.

"Good. You can go. Just be quick." Remy walked away.

I thought they weren't friends anymore... Well, I don't know why so maybe Remy wasn't completely involved. Roman thought.

Roman loooked around the doors until he found the one with, 'Virgil Shard,' on it. He knocked on the door repeatedly.

"If you're in there, I just want to talk. Afterwards you can go back into your room. Just... please...?" Roman offered.

"I'm listening." Virgil replied. "Who is this?"

"Roman Prince. Hey, don't stop listening! I just wanted to say... your absence has affected everyone, even Snape seems a little stressed. People are beginning to think you're going to starve yourself in there. If you're planning to, why do it when you've got a life ahead of you? I get that the others left you but, Patton is willing to become friends with you. So is Logan. You can join the light sides, please? Or just you can punch all of us in the face, as long as you stay out of the room?" Roman spoke his words without thinking. He never regretted any of it, though.

The door opened to reveal a really messy Virgil. He had dark bags under his eyes and his hair was so messy it looked as if he hadn't brushed it for years.

"Come in..." Virgil suggested. "This'll take a while for me to talk to you. And the Slytherins must be thinking you're insane."

"Thanks." Roman mumbled, sitting down.

"So, is this who my prince in shining armour is?" Virgil joked. "Some reckless Gryffindor."

"My last name is prince, so it makes sense." Roman played along.

"Where's your steed or horse you're going to rescue me with?" Virgil continued.

"It's imaginary! The best things are imaginary, after all!" Roman exclaimed.

"So you definitely aren't going to be anyone's imagination." Virgil teased.

*offended princey noises*

"I'm kidding, calm down, Princey." Virgil laughed.

"Oh, it thought you were just so oblivious that you couldn't tell what was great or not." Roman replied.

"You're pretty great, I guess... Apart from how you act like a clueless moron." Virgil admitted.

Roman turned slightly red, and raised his eyebrows.

"Panic at the everywhere, compliments mwah? How shocking!" Roman stated, trying to sound snarky to hide his blush.

"Oh, shut up. I already regret it." Virgil huffed.

"Hey Shard, would you be willing to hang out with Patton, Logan and I sometimes?" Roman offered, timidly.

"I guess, maybe at times... Sure." Virgil shrugged, shyly. "Now can you please leave before people begin coming to conclusions? I really don't want Remy to end up thinking... Nevermind."

Roman raised his eyebrows but shrugged.

"Bye, emo nightmare!" Roman waved, leaving.

Virgil smiled and waved back.
