Warning!:Dukeceit
Our dark, strange son sufferingVirgil sat there, his face buried in his knees and his hands clutching them. Silent tears began to escape him and his breathing became sharp and unsteady. He knew it was only his fault for this. Virgil knew the loss of friendship and the drama was all because of him. He just sat there, his mind shattering like glass from a bullet.
Let's see what the light sides were doing, huh?
"Hey guys, look!" Patton exclaimed, though it sounded sad. "Come here, guys!"
"What is it, Pat?" Logan asked.
"Yeah, Lo's right. You sound pretty worried. What's wrong?" Roman agreed.
This was one of those rare days Roman would hang out with Patton and Logan instead of Harry and Ron. This was usually due to Patton urging Logan to be more social, starting with getting more comfortable around friends. Roman agreed to hang out since they were pretty great to talk to.
"There's someone over there! See? They look lonely." Patton pointed out a dark figure in a far corner of the Hogwarts walls.
"That looks slightly like Virgil Shard..." Logan thought.
"C'mon! Let's see if they're okay!" Patton urged, running over to the person.
Logan's thought was proved right when the figure turned out to be the short boy. It was concerning how he was shaking, and not around any of the dark sides.
"Hey, kiddo, you alright?" Patton whispered.
Virgil looked up and saw Patton. His eyes widened and he looked afraid.
"Sorry if I bothered you! I need to leave!" Virgil stood up but, Patton held his wrist to stop the shorter person from running away.
"Hey... what's wrong?" He asked.
"It's nothing. Just don't worry about it, Wind." Virgil assured him, "trust me, I'll be fine soon enough."
"Why are you not with someone, though? Aren't you and my brother always together?" Roman asked, concerned.
"It's nothing, okay!?!" Virgil exclaimed, before running away.
Logan, Patton and Roman all looked at each other. They were concerned for him, since him feeling anxious without the dark sides around could be really bad.
"Why don't we wait until tomorrow after classes to ask him? He might have calmed down by then and we may be able to peace it together from the signs give to us." Logan suggested.
"Sure." Patton agreed, reluctantly.
Roman nodded.
Virgil walked away from the scene, still shaking. He had denied even speaking to people, he could've hurt their feelings. Well, it's not like they cared about him, so why would it hurt him? Virgil sighed. He then began walking off to his dorm, thankful he wasn't a Gryffindor where he'd need to share with the others. He liked privacy and he couldn't look at his old friends after he left. Unfortunately, Deceit was in the common room with Remus as he walked in. Virgil looked away, and flipped the hood of his cloak up, hiding his face. He walked off to his dorm.
Remy walked into the dorm, seeing Deceit and Remus. He walked up to them.
"Yo, guys! Where's Virge?" Remy asked.
Deceit's expression darkened.
"He's left. He broke up with me..." Deceit mumbled. His yellow eye began to shine. "Even though I cheated on him, you will still hang out with me, right?"
"N-yes..." Remy stated, being controlled.
"After I take off this spell, you will still be our friend, or Virgil will get tortured." Deceit ordered, before taking off the controlling curse. (No, not the imperious, just his ability)
Remus held his boyfriend's hand.
"Can Dee and I go somewhere a bit more private, Remy?" Remus insisted.
"Sure." Remy mumbled, guiltily.
