Warning:Panic attack!
Dukeceit
Depressed Virgil
AngstVirgil was at one of his detentions currently, meaning that Deceit and Remus could finally have their alone time. Meaning, make out time. You might be confused, so let me elaborate. Deceit was cheating on Virgil. For Remus. Easy.
"I can't believe Virgil is so naïve!" Remus finally stared after a couple hours of them hanging out.
"He's only naïve because we're good liars, hun." Deceit stated, before pressing a kiss against the taller boy's cheek.
"Wow, after all this time?"
The two turned around. It can't be... Virgil was standing right behind them. Glaring, and with tear-stricken eyes.
"Oh, Virgil... at least you've finally found the truth. I don't love you." Deceit clapped, smirking.
Remus snaked his arms around the snake.
(I had to)
Deceit blushed.
"Can you not ruin my dramatic reveal, Remus?" Deceit muttered.
"I'm not capable of that, sorry!" Remus chuckled.
Deceit sighed.
"So, Virgil, you've finally found out, huh? You've found out you're a hopeless idiot, who believes someone loves them when, really, they're unloveable." Deceit sneered.
"At least I'm not like my father, then!" Virgil yelled, bitterly.
Deceit's eyes widened. His mind shattered. Just like his father? He realised... this was true. The one person he'd sworn to never turn out like. Like father, like son, as they say.
His father was a loving, kind person. He was protective of his mother. They'd been a happy couple. But then, he began to grow distant. He was cheating on his mother, for a death eater woman. He began getting abusive. The story was even bigger then this but... Deceit was never told it all. All he knew was that Virgil's words were unfortunately true.
Remus wrapped his arms around the breaking Slytherin, comfortingly.
"Dee..." he whispered, soothingly. "You might be like your father but, here's a difference: at least you have a heart. And someone who truly loves you. And... you never joined death eaters and tortured people, did you?"
"I-I understand but... What about the rest?" Deceit questioned.
"You did it for your own gain, your father cheated to hurt your mother. Isn't that enough? That you didn't do it to hurt her? And you aren't abusive, are you?" Remus asked, rhetorically.
The two stayed together, Remus whispering words of reassurance. Eventually, Deceit cheered up and the two walked to the slytherin dormitory together.
Virgil, on the other hand was having a full blown anxiety attack. He felt like he was drowning, in a pool full of depression, regret, anger and heart-break. His heart was in a million pieces, never to be healed completely again. He began tearing at his hair, as he was crawled up in a ball. He couldn't feel the outside world. Only his mind. His heart and mind was just stuck in a box full of weapons causing him pain, while his body was shaking uncontrollably.
