The words circled his mind like a hurricane. Logan was back to how he was as a younger child before meeting Patton. Emotionless, a robot, and resilient. No space for emotions. No space for love. Just work and an empty mind. That's what he deserved for making friends. What he cared for was taken away. And there was no going back.
People sent him peculiar glances as they saw him back to how he was originally. Some Hufflepuffs sent frightening glares for hurting Patton. Some Ravenclaws' expressions were sympathetic.
Logan could read emotions. But he couldn't have them.
He knew Virgil was ready to murder him for hurting Patton. He didn't feel anything at the knowledge.
He knew Roman was scowling at him. He didn't feel anything at the knowledge.
He knew he was a bad person. He didn't feel anything at the knowledge.
He knew Patton was hurt because of his actions. He didn't feel anything at this knowledge.
Eat. Sleep. Study. The vicious cycle continued for months as he ignored any urges, emotions and pain. He didn't have them anymore. He was back to being an empty metal shell.
He was back to being a robot.
