So, uhhh- this probably won't be too angsty, since I just wanted some platonic bonds shown. And honestly all of these chapters are short nowadays-

Virgil looked around at the green all around him. The familiarity of living here all of his life was an amazing feeling. The Slytherin common room was dark, which he enjoyed, and it had a calming look to it. He couldn't even imagine the Hufflepuff and Gryffindor Common Rooms and how bright they were. He smiled. So many changes had been going on recently, this familiar common room was his only escape. He felt someone brush their fingers onto his shoulder.

"Virgil."

"Remy." The anxious boy whispered, turning around. "What do you need?"

"I just wanted to hang out with you, for old times' sake." Remy chuckled.

He looked slightly awkward, which was different to his usual attitude.

"It's basically been a year, Remy." Virgil told him, "what's the catch?"

"There is none." Remy sounded genuine, "I just wanted to hang out a bit more again."

"You know what? Sure." Virgil shrugged. "Come on, lets go to my dorm."

Remy smirked, and somehow got a cup of coffee out of nowhere.

"So, how have things been recently?" Remy asked.

Virgil shrugged, "better now I don't have to deal with you screaming that you need coffee."

Remy rolled his eyes.

"How about you?" Virgil asked.

"I'm going against the rule of not shagging your therapist." Remy joked.

"Emile Picani? Thought he was too innocent for you." Virgil raised his eyebrows.

"I'm kidding, babes." Remy chuckled.

"You wish you weren't, don't you?" Virgil teased

"You know me so well, hun." Remy smirked.

The two broke out into laughter. It was just like old days, except without Remus and Janus there.

"How 'bout you? Anyone caught your eye?~"

Virgil blushed slightly, telling Remy all he needed to know. Well, all that Virgil would tell him. Virgil was not one to give away identities.

"So, what are you doing for Christmas Holidays in a week?" Remy asked.

Virgil only then realised it was December 15th, and that the Holidays started on the 21st. Only six days left. Damn.

"Staying at Hogwarts, like always." Virgil mumbled, "how about you?"

"Same, babes." Remy shrugged. "Hold on." Remy's eyes widened.

"What is it?" Virgil asked.

"What did you do for the summer? You aren't able to stay at Hogwarts, and you usually stay with Janus... Who did you go to?"

Virgil smiled awkwardly. "Thankfully, Roman, Patton and... Logan... Usually stay over at someone's house for the Summer, like a month and a half long sleepover thing. I didn't have to worry about it - thankfully - but I don't know what I would have done..." his voice trailed off.

"You sure so damn lucky that they did that..." Remy stated. "But, what if something happens?"

"I get along well with my muggle cousin and his significant other... I wouldn't want to bother them, but they're my only choice..." Virgil mumbled.

"How would you explain magic to them?" Remy questioned.

"They're pretty much conspiracy theorists, I don't think they'd question it." Virgil shrugged.

"Cons- what now?" Remy stared, blankly.

"Conspiracy theorists. It's complicated to explain." Virgil smiled awkwardly.

"Muggles have some weird names for things, I swear." Remy muttered.

Virgil laughed at that.

"Growing up as a Half - Blood has its perks." Virgil winked.

Remy rolled his eyes.

It was just like old times.
