OH MY GOD, THE FRIENDSHIP OF THE DARK SIDES IS AMAZING AND I CAN'T BREAK IT UP FOR ANY REASON AND IT'S SO HARD TRYING TO FIND DRAMA AND NOT DYING INSIDE WHEN BREAKING THEM UP. OOOOOOOOOOOOOF!Also, sorry for the long wait, guys!
"Transfiguration, first thing? Seriously? And with the freaking Gryffindors, too!" Deceit exclaimed, frustrated.
Remus' frown deepened. He had been looking thoughtful the entire morning, it was quite concerning. Deceit had asked about it, and Remus just said he was tired. Nobody believed him, of course, but they didn't dwell on the matter since maybe Remus was just having one of his moody days.
"Why can't it be the Ravenclaws or something?" Virgil agreed. "No offense to other houses but, they have the most common sense. And Logan Woods is actually tolerable, unlike any Gryffindors or Hufflepuffs. I mean, Patton Wind is great and all, but he's quite an airhead."
"It's time for class, guys." Remy stated, getting up.
The boys walked over to the transfiguration classroom. There were only two seats. One next to Theodore Nott and the other next to Roman. Remus was wishing Virgil sat next to Nott but, Remy took the seat. Virgil was left sitting next to Roman.
"These seats here will be your pairings for this entire school year. Ensure they are sensible or I must move you." McGonagall stated.
Virgil and Roman looked at each other. Virgil was disappointed while Roman's expression was blank.
The teacher began explaining the lesson: turning goblets into hamsters. Professor McGonagall then instructed them to try, telling them it'll probably take long and they should start soon and not mess around. She then glanced at Remus and Deceit sitting next to each other. Virgil chuckled quietly to himself. He brushed it off as a cough, not wanting to get in trouble.
"So, how's your sister doing?" Roman asked, wanting to begin conversation.
"Well. I forgot to thank you for helping her... She's not the most skilled in defence and a pretty big target, because of me..." The shorter boy's voice trailed off.
"Oh, it's fine. Saving people is my thing, so..." Roman beamed.
"Don't think that, because I'm being nice, I always will be. I still think you are a reckless, fanciful moron." Virgil protested, before getting his wand out to begin the charm.
Roman rolled his eyes playfully and smirked a bit. He then took out his own wand to practice himself.
"Remus, you alright?" Deceit asked, concerned for his friend. The lessons had all ended and the two had been sitting under a tree outside, despite it being autumn.
"It's fine." Remus gritted his teeth.
"It's obviously not. You seem more pissed off when Virge and your brother were talking a bit. You then looked as if you wanted to kill them when Virgil helped him-" deceit looked at Remus, "you don't think...?"
"Roman was checking out Virgil yesterday at the infirmary. He also was staring at the table. I also swore I heard Weasley saying something about it as they left the infirmary . He was pretty red when Virgil put his hand over his to help him with the spell." Remus rambled. "Virgil is so oblivious to it but, Roman's interested and... I think Virgil might begin to like him back, without knowing."
"Virgil wouldn't. Trust me, he hasn't been acting distant, and we've been together for a while. Long enough for me to know he's not going to cheat." Deceit decided.
Remus frowned but then allowed himself to be led there by his best friend. At least he distracted him from the problem and made him realise it was just a silly concern. Their plan was still going well.
"Hey Remus, Deceit!" Remy greeted.
Virgil just waved, smiling.
"So, how's life?" Remus asked.
"You literally life in the same place as us, Remus." Virgil sighed, amused.
"Well, for all we know, you guys could've been plotting against us or joined the light Sides while we were gone." Remus shrugged.
"Well, we would never. They're too brave, kind and extroverted. Even Logan thinks too positively at times!" Virgil replied.
"You just think he's positive because he's more logical then pessimistic." Deceit mused.
"Shut up, Deceit." Virgil huffed.
"This boy's a tsundere!" Remy pointed out.
"Am not!" Virgil huffed.
Just to point out what I view all of their sexualities as throughout this. You might disagree and that's fine but, I won't have them all as fully gay like how Thomas is since I feel like these would be better.
Virgil - Gay Graysexual
Logan- asexual, but demiromantic
Patton- Panromantic/ pansexual
Deceit- demisexual/ grayromantic
Roman- gay, dis boi never straight
Remus- homoflexible
Remy - too gay for words
