This story, like all stories, start off as a cliché. It starts with a girl, a new girl.

But, unlike those stories, I was also a girl.

There wasn't much to recall from the day I met her, I was sixteen at the time with my twin, and we were just floating around the guild hall. No, not Fairy Tail, we ain't there yet!

It wasn't a gloomy day, but the sun wasn't out either. Not that the sun helped the guild hall brighten much. This was Phantom Lord, the closest thing to a dark guild that was a light guild.

Gabbriel, just a sixteen year old teen, was sitting at their table with her brother Gajeel. The two of them were chatting under their breath, eating scrap metal that never seem to disappear.

"Where'd Jose even head off too?" Gajeel grumbled around the bolts in his mouth. His teeth grind them to dust almost instantly. "He just walked out without a word."

"How should I know?" Gabbey mumbled, chewing some screws. It took a little bit longer for her to eat the metal, her teeth weren't as sharp as Gajeel's. "I've been with you all day."

   "Smartass,"

   "Dumbass,"

The doors opened that next moment, the dark aura that tagged along with Jose filling the hall as he made his entrance. But next to him, was a short girl. Her black hair was tied up in a high pony tail, showing her pale face and grey eyes. Her clothing was bright, yellow and black. Like a fucking bumblebee.

"Listen up you blithering idiots!" Jose suddenly hollered, imminently shutting everyone up. "This here is my niece! She is going to join this guild, and you are going to respect her like she is your own guild master! Understood?!"

"Yes, Master," The guild hall echoed, some people going back to what they were doing. Others were watching the new girl curiously.

"Didn't know Jose had a sibling," Gajeel muttered under his breathe.

"Me either," Gabbey shrugged, watching the girl. She looked awkward, watching her uncle walk away to leave her standing in the guild hall by herself.

Gabbriel held her breathe suddenly as the new girl look in their direction, staring straight into Gabbey's red eyes. The girl smiled, a bright one that entranced Gabbey almost instantly.

Gabbey narrowed her eyes and turned away.

Thus, was the start of all my problems.

Gabbriel let out a tired groan as she got off the train, Juvia followed closely behind. Of course, with the rain woman around, there was rain falling from the sky. But, Juvia made sure that Gabbey was safe underneath the pink umbrella she carried.

"Drip, Drop," Juvia murmured to herself. "Juvia thinks the job was too easy."

"You're not wrong," Gabbey agreed. "That was a lot easier than I thought it was going to be."

"Maybe Master thought it would be harder?"

"Or maybe he thinks that we can't do anything harder than that."

   "That might also be true."

Gabbriel stopped at a four-way path, turning to Juvia with a grin. "I'm going to check out the town, J. I'll see you tomorrow."
