Ian just held ⨊ as she slept, not wanting to let go of her. Worried that she would leave if he left her side. After a few hours, ⨊ woke up. ⎨⨊?⎬ wrote Ian when he saw her wake up. Ian noticed that ⨊ was in a daze and seemed barely awake. ⨊ just sat there not reacting to anything. "Your hungry right?" asked Ian as he held her as he walked into the kitchen to get her something to eat. Ian tapped her lip and gently opened her mouth to feed her. ⨊ just sat there and ate in a daze. After ⨊ ate, she went back to sleep. Ian took ⨊ to bed and held her as she slept.
The next day when Ian was done changing ⨊'s bandages, there was a knock on the door. "Hi Ian, we just came to check on you," said Nina. "We also got some food for you and we can get you whatever you need," she added watching Ian's expression. "Keep your distance. Touch her and I'll snap your hands," said Ian. "We won't touch her," said Haley. "So I guess you're taking a few days off from work," said Steve sitting down with the others. "Why are you all here?" asked Ian as he put ⨊ on his lap.
"You appear to have your hands full and we can help. We can get you what you need," said Nina. "Is it really her?" asked Vincent. "It's her," said Ian. "How can you be so certain that it's her?" asked Caren. "You don't need to know," said Ian getting annoyed at Caren. "How is she?" asked Vincent. "Weak," said Ian. "Does ℥enji know?" asked Vincent. "No," said Ian. "How could he not know? I mean when they were here with her she was never left alone. One of them was constantly with her," said Haley. "They were not always with her," said Ian. "That's right. There was a time when she left on her own and they waited here for her," said Vincent.
