"I didn't say anything wrong. When I first met Ian, he was happy and now because of a brat..." said Alex interrupting the woman. But before she could finish her sentence, she felt Ian's hand around her neck, tightening his grip. "Wha..." Before she could say anything more Ian broke her neck.
That woman tried to escape while Ian seemed dazed out but before she could open the door Ian had caught her. "So you're the woman who is interested in me?" asked Ian after a few seconds as his atmosphere got dark. "No. I'm not interested in you. Alex kept going on about you and brought me along," she said in a panic. "I would have believed you if you hadn't come here," said Ian in a cold voice. "But thanks to you two arriving here I returned to my old self, so I guess I should thank you," he added with a gentle smile. "Then you'll let me leave? I won't say anything to anyone. I swear," said the woman in a panic. "I'll let you go," said Ian breaking her neck.
Ian stood for a few seconds remembering what he did and everything that had happened to him since he last saw ⨊ as Kian. He felt as though he had been asleep when everything happened. And yet he felt as though he himself had spent time with ⨊ when he was Adrian. Just that the real him was missing. Causing him as Adrian to react in ways the real him never would.
"I really messed up. Can't believe I ever considered letting go of her for even a split second," mumbled Ian to himself. Remembering her hurt expression when he loosened his embrace on her. And how much he hurt her by behaving that way. Remembering the wounds on her, how much pain she was in and how much she needed someone to take care of her. "I can't let her see me like this. It would only worry her," he mumbled looking at himself.
