Todoroki
what was that? I heard some sort of commotion outside, so I went to see what happened. Please let nobody be hurt... I raced down the stairs, shoving my way through the other students, ignoring everyone's yelps and complaints. Suddenly, I screeched to a halt. I was standing right next to Yukina's empty dorm. Moving without my mind's consent, I grabbed the doorknob and twisted the door open. Taking a step inside and listening to the floorboards creak under my feet gave me a a different feeling. Was this nostalgia? Or maybe regret? The ground was caked in dust, and there were cobwebs in the corners. White tarps covered the furniture. I sighed. Yukina..... Suddenly, I snapped back to reality. I have somewhere else to be, I shouldn't be standing here in Yukina's room... I flashed one last look, before closing the door and sprinting to the backyard. I shoved open the door, and saw a scene that made me feel sick. Lying on the ground, were two bodies. Koda and Uraraka. They were both dead, with ugly gashes in their bodies that were most likely made with a knife. Midoriya dropped by again.... I can't believe he'd kill somebody like Uraraka.... He would really take this murder to that level? Blood was splattered all over the grass, the trees, and their clothes. I suddenly felt very dizzy. I backed up against the wall and clutched my head. I heard footsteps echo behind me. Thump, thump, thump... The sound echoed through my head, hammering it's way into my skull.
"Hey, Todoroki! Hey, are you ok? Todoroki!" Ojiro desperately asked while shaking my shoulder.
"I-I'm fine. Help those two first!"
"Wait what do you- oh no....." Ojiro looked at the two bodies, and his face turned pale white. He started to quiver, holding back the tears that were threatening to explode from his eyes.
"Midoriya again."
"M-Midoriya? Why would he do this? Kill his own classmates!? I thought the and Uraraka were friends!" Ojiro's voice turned shaky and shrill. He sank to his knees.
"Hey. Calm down. We'll worry about why later. First, we need to tell Mr. Aizawa."
Ojiro nodded and ran back inside. Oh, sweet Midoriya..... what did we do to deserve this? Did any of us hurt you? We all loved you, and treated you nicely.... (well, most of us at least). I got to my feet, and went back inside, just as Mr. Aizawa and some other teachers busted down the door, and came running in. Some of the teachers were sent to gather all the remaining students, while others went outside. Mr. Aizawa called the police, and told them our situation. He came back to us, and said, "I know this is hard on you guys, but just cope with it. we're figuring out who the murderer is right now. It's tragic to watch all these good students die, I know."
Iida jumped to his feet, with tears in his eyes. This must be hard on him, since he looked up to Midoriya... "Pardon me for interrupting, Mr. Aizawa. But-" Iida choked back a sob. "We already know who the murderer is. It's been the same person, over and over again."
Mr. Aizawa shifted nervously in his seat. "Well, there's a chance that it's a different perso-"
"Don't try to hide it from us! It's Midoriya, and we all know it! Midoriya is behind all this killing!" Iida was yelling now, and we all stared at him with bewildered faces. The calm, composed, rule following Iida. Was yelling. At a teacher.
Mr. Aizawa nodded grimly. "We think it was most likely Midoriya. He's taking on the role of a villain now, so don't think of him as a friend. It'll be a disadvantage." Mr. Aizawa's voice turned serious. "This villain. This villain is probably the most dangerous thing we have ever dealt with. More dangerous than any other villain. If he attacks, do not hesitate. He might try to talk to you, or convince you that he's your friend. Do not listen. This villain is a psychopath assassin wearing a harmless mask. Please remember that and use it to your advantage the next time you cross paths with him. That is all. School will resume tomorrow." Mr. Aizawa stood up and joined the rest of the teachers, who were talking in hushed worried tones. We separated and went back to our dorm rooms. I walked into my room, and shut the door behind me. I still remember the first day we moved into the dorms like it happened yesterday. We had held a contest for the person that owned the best room. We still had everyone back then. We had Sato, Ashido, Kaminari, Jiro, Sero, Yaoyorozu, Mineta, Asui, Uraraka, Hagakure, Kirishima, and Koda. But most importantly: we still had Midoriya. I remember how amazed he was when he saw my room. I had spent the entire day decorating and remodeling my room to make it look like a traditional room. I still remember his wide-eyed expression as he walked into my room. "You did all of this? In a day?! Wow, Todoroki, you're amazing!" Midoriya had told me. Those memories came rushing back to me, filling me with nostalgia and pain. I was so lost in my own thoughts, I didn't know I was crying until teardrops were streaming down my face and splattering on the floor. I stood there, and cried for what seemed like an eternity. It was already nighttime, and I hadn't had dinner yet. Whatever.... I'm not in the mood for it.... I trudged to my bed, feeling downright miserable. I lied down, and was asleep in seconds.
Midoriya
It's a clear night.... all the stars are shining, despite the fact Japan is so polluted.... I skipped down the street, whistling along to a song. Everyone avoided me, mothers covered their children when I passed by, and even high-class snobs made way for me. Nobody even dared to look at me. I finally arrived at the dorm room's front door. The tall building towered over me, casting a shadow that swallowed everything in a 30-feet radius. Some kids were training outside, but I couldn't tell who. I tilted my head, listening to the sounds of their quirks. First, I heard a loud sputtering noise, like a car's engine powering up. That must be Iida. I couldn't identify the other two: a whooshing noise, and some sort of high-tech projectile. I walked to the side of the dorm and peeked over. Iida, Ojiro, and Aoyama were practicing their fighting moves. This ought to be easy..... I hopped over the fence, and silently waited for them to notice. Ojiro, bless him, was the first person to actually recognize me. "Midoriya! It's Midoriya again!"
That alerted everyone else. Iida whipped around with scared eyes. "Midoriya?!" Aoyama was the last to notice. The second he started moving, I threw my blade. He turned around, got a knife to the forehead, and crumpled on the ground. It all happened so fast; first he was there, and now he's dead. Iida and Ojiro watched with twin masks of shock.
I laughed manically, the sound slicing through the peaceful night. Ojiro's face was so pale, it looked like a sheet of paper. "You just gonna stand there, or actually do something?" I taunted.
Iida was the first to react. He charged at me, aiming a kick at my head. I activated my quirk and jumped, landing behind him. I drove my blade into Iida's back. It cut straight through like a hot knife through butter. Iida arched his back and screamed. He writhed and shuddered, until he was flopped on the floor, still and cold. "Well, that's two down! And you." I turned towards Ojiro. "You're next."
Ojiro turned even more pale. "I-I'll fight you! I'm not scared!"
I gave him a sincere look. "Are you sure? Don't lie to me."
"Y-yes!" He cried, his entire body shaking.
"Hmm. Maybe." I said simply. "Let's see." Activating my quirk, I charged at him. Ojiro raised his tail, ready to fight. At the last moment, I feinted and dodged. Ojiro stopped moving, confused. This is my chance! I grabbed him by his tail and hurled him at the sky, using all the power I could. "Well, that's that. I bet we won't be seeing him again." I said to myself. I retrieved my knives and walked back to the base. Why is this so easy? Killing isn't fun when people don't fight back! Hmph. Wait, Todoroki! Todoroki would fight back. I wanna kill Todoroki! Even as this idea came to my head, a little part of me would rather do anything else besides kill Todoroki. What's wrong with me?! Todoroki's a filthy hero! I tried to fight back, to block out that thought, but it kept coming back. Every. Single. Time.
