For hours I explained to Leo everything that Pen had told and shown me in the other realm, but no matter what I said… it did not seem to sink in.

“Leo just trust me on this ok”

“How can I trust her? You said it yourself… she’s the wife of Hades”

“You didn’t listen to a word I just said… did you!?” I accused, he made a growling noise and backed away from me

“How can you just trust her!”

“Because unlike you… she actually listened to me!” I turned my head away from him, angry and frustrated that he couldn’t just trust my judgement “Precides, she’s fed up of Hades chasing me… apparently he has done it for so long… that he forgot about her…” I sighed

“What do you mean he forgot about her?” his voice was calmer now, less angry

“She mentioned briefly that the home she now lives in was meant for her to raise a child”

“A child?”

“You still don’t get it do you… omg…he promised to make her a mother?”

“Oh…” he walked back towards where I was sat and joined me

“That’s why I trust her… and she actually is genuine… she told me that Hades wasn’t as bad as what he is now… he actually used to gentle at some point in his life…”

“We don’t know that for certain…”

“I know… but what she taught me… I’m supposed to show and teach you… it’s a less painful method mind”

“Then… let’s get started”

We both stood up and stared at each other, I kept my expressions cool and calm whereas his face was full of doubt and worry. I gave him all of the instructions that Pen had given to me, even telling him that he needs to tap into his element, gestured around us and pointed out that we were surrounded by water… and the fact that there is always air around us. He just stared at me for a while before taking deep breathes.

“Can you feel your element?” I asked him, he just nodded “Can you feel the pull and sway of the water… feel it’s healing abilities? But can you also feel the power it also holds?” he had closed his eyes at this point and became all quiet… all you could hear were the swashing sound of the water mixed with the even breathing that came from Leo.

“I can feel it Jen...” he breathed

“Good, now I want you to push it all around you… I want you to feel the water building the wings that make you stand proud!” My yelling seemed to push him, what I saw was something out of a book, the water slowly began to bubble and rise from its dormant state, slowly it began to make its way through the air towards Leo, it touched his back and he flinched a little… probably from the sudden cold that touched his hot back… but he soon relaxed and accepted it was there… much better than I had, the water formed into the shape of majestic wings that spanned large “That’s brilliant Leo!” I exclaimed as I watched it fully transform into the wings I recognised and adored, he opened his eyes and flexed his wings

“Well… that was different I must say” he looked at his wings as though he did not fully believe they were there

“It feels weird doesn’t it?”

“It does… how did you feel?” he asked me, I pulled my lips together and began to bite them again

“I thought someone was behind me when they attached the first time, his lips quivered again so I picked up a stone and threw it at him… childish I know but still.
