It was the next morning and Rakshit felt like he had slept for ages. It has been a long time since he actually had a deep sleep. He woke up and got dressed and left for office. He didn't have breakfast thinking he will have it at work. On the other side, Drishti too woke up from her slumber. She went ahead and got changed and was about to have breakfast when her phone rang. She didn't recognize the number, but picked it up.
Drishti: hello, it's Drishti Khanna, who's this?
Rakshit: hello, Ms. Khanna, it's Rakshit Shergill.
Drishti: (happy hearing his voice) hello, Mr. Shergill, how are you?
Rakshit: (concerned) I should be the one asking you that. How are you Ms. Khanna? How's you hand? Did you change your bandages?
Drishti: wait...wait...not so fast. One question at a time please. I am perfectly fine now and I have changed my bandage too. But you didn't answer my question, I asked, how are you Mr. Shergill?
Rakshit: I am fine and I also called to tell you that I won't be signing the deal with you.
Drishti: (loudly) WHAT?
She got up from her chair immediately and the chair made a loud noise as it fell down.
Rakshit: what happened Ms. Khanna? What was that noise? Are you ok?
Drishti was upset thinking how could he do that. But when she was going to ask him the reason, her phone ran out of battery.
Rakshit: (worried) Ms. Khanna, are you there? Drishti....Drishti...
When no reply came from the phone, he became even more worried. He told the driver to take a turn and go to her house. And in few minutes, he reached her house. He ran inside and shouted her name.
Rakshit: Ms. Khanna....Drishti....Drishti. Where are you?
The worker told him that she's in her room and before he could say anything else, Rakshit hurried over there thinking something might have happened to her. When he entered her room, he saw her struggling with her dress zipper. So what happened was that when Rakshit told her about canceling the deal, she got up so fast that she spilled juice in her dress so she came upstairs to change. In the meantime she put her phone on charge.
Anyways, as soon as Rakshit ran inside her room, he saw her struggling with the zipper. He couldn't take his eyes off of her. She then saw him stirring at her from the dresser mirror. Embarrassed, she immediately turned back and said,
Drishti: Mr. Shergill...you, what are you doing here?
Rakshit felt relieved that's she's fine. But looking at her like that, he couldn't resist. He walked towards her, and she stepped back until she reached the dressing table.
Drishti: (looking away from his eyes) what are you doing?
Rakshit didn't say anything but turned her around. The touch was affecting not only her, but him as well. Still, he closed his eyes and moved his hand down her back where the zipper was. She now lost her senses, and glanced at the mirror to realize that he had closed his eyes. She felt happy as he was not like any other man she has met. And just like that he closed her zipper and looked at the mirror to see her blushing.
Rakshit's POV:
When I heard a loud noise coming from the phone and then the phone got cut, I didn't know what happened to me. I shouted at the driver to take me to her house. I was so worried that something might have happened to her. When I finally reached her home, I again shouted at the workers and called her name, but they told me she was in her room. I ran over and when I entered, I was lost in her beauty again. I didn't know what to do, but I so badly wanted to go and hug her and take her in my arms, but I somehow controlled myself.
I saw her struggling with the zipper so I walked over to her. I couldn't take my eyes off of her. I saw how my touch effected her just like before. I was happy but I didn't know what to expect. What can I do, I wanted to live those moments again, but can I? Am I allowed to?
