What happens when you give everything to someone you thought loved you? You get hurt when he or she changes their mind. You feel like you could've saved all that love for someone better. For someone who wanted you to be theirs forever. Not someone who takes what they want and leave.
That's exactly what I did. Almost a year ago. My consequences you ask? Let's just say, Hell is an understatement.

One Year Ago
"So seriously... You two seriously... ya know?" Chelsea asked with a clownish smile on her face.
I nodded eagerly as a few memories flashed back in my mind.
"It was the best night of my life. We were sitting in my room watching a movie, when out of the blue, he says he loves me. Only, it wasn't a friendly I love you. It was a sincere, forever and ever I love you. It was magical. Then we started... ya know. Then so on and so forth..." I explained and tried to release her grip on my arm because it was cutting off circulation.
Chelsea squeezed my hand tightly in excitement. I adjusted my backpack strap on my shoulder because it fell from all of her gleeful movement. She squealed in delight then said, "So lucky!"
I nodded with a huge smile on my face as we walked through the door of the school. Searching the crowd, I immediately spotted Matt. How could I not spot him? He was so cute and tall and just... UGH! I love him so much.
"Hey babe." I said and he gave me a short kiss. He was holding a football and tossing it around as he talked to his team mates. He smiled at me warmly as he continued to chat. I loved being around him, I loved his smile, I loved his hair, I loved HIM!
"That pass last night. Good job man." One of his team mates, Carlos, praised.
"Yeah, I was like, Oh crap it's not gunna make it! But when it did, oh man it was great," He finished and then leaned in closer to my ear. "Last night was better," He whispered and I giggled with delight. This warm feeling stirred in my stomach and it made me smile at him idiotically. He smirked back and gave me a wink. I felt like I was in a different world. Just looking at him made my heart swell. We stared for a minute but when we heard Carlos clear his throat, we snapped back from this daze we were in. A magical, heart fluttering gaze.
"Someone got some last night," Carlos sang in a high voice and we all started laughing. I could feel my cheeks burning but then Matt whispered, "Don't worry about them," But that made my cheeks burn redder. He was so proud of us and what we did. I think that's what I loved most about him.
When the warning bell rang throughout the school, People started rushing through the hallways to get to their longingly dreaded classes. I think everyone loathed this school. It was ghetto, and low budget. But the teachers were cool so...
"I gotta go babe. But I'll see you tonight." Matt says and gave me another kiss. When he's about to pull back, he doesn't, Instead he lingers there for a minute. I wish I didn't have class. "Bye," He whispers on my lips and kisses me one more time. Shivers are shooting down my spine and he smirks. He walks away, looking back at me with a grin on his face.
I sigh dreamily and watch him walk away. He looked back at me before he turned a corner with a smile still plastered on his face. I head off to my class in the most amazing mood ever.

"That was a good movie." I commented we walked through the door of my house.
"It was." He said and smiled his beautiful smile at me. His brown hair and his dark blue eyes definitely made me want to never let him go.
