Elena's POV
Okay today's the day. The day where I host a ball where I won't be able to recognise anyone. This is the only chance to have a formal chat with Prince Levi about our kingdoms futures.

Currently I'm walking in circles around my room worrying about what I'm going to wear for the ball. I'd been so busy with all of the paperwork and meetings along with marriage proposals that I hadn't had time to think about my attire for my own event. Stupid Elena... I thought to myself.

I called the guards and asked them to take me to the nearest dress shop seeing as though this was an emergency.

"Guards! Get me a carriage and inform Kelly that I'm coming down the the dress shop. Tell her it's an emergency and she'll understand." I explain. I packed all the the necessary things for my travel and headed out of my room.

I was walking down the hallways of the Richardson castle and made my way to the extravagant doors that blocked the way of the entrance.
The doors opened and outside was my carriage waiting for my arrival.
My butler Michael was waiting for me to enter the carriage.

"Your highness are you sure you don't want something a hit more posher? Or higher or your status?" He questioned with an unsure tone of voice. I shook my head at his question and got into the carriage.

"No Michael. I don't want to attract attention. That's why I'm going with nobody and one driver." I stared rather bluntly.

"If you may excuse me I'll be on my way. Make sure that all of the preparations are done before I get back. I don't want to have a party that looks like a hell hole. So do the nets you can please?" He sighed and looked me in the eye.

"Yes your highness." He replied. I gave a smirk of satisfaction.

I closed the door behind me and ordered the driver to go.

Twenty minutes later...

we arrived at the dress shop which had the sign saying "closed" on it. I stepped out of my carriage and went into the store. The little bell ringing notifying my presence.

"Elena!" A high pitched voice shouted.

"Kelly! It's been awhile hasn't it? Anyway we don't have time for a catch up. I need a dress for my upcoming ball which is tonight. And I need it now." I stated.

She looked a bit shocked at my sudden outburst but suddenly replaced her expression with a smile.

"Of course you're highnesss. Right this way." She said. He short flaming red hair swayed as she turned in her heels.

Kelly was a very unique girl like me. She had vibrant red hair and light green eyes. She also had freckles dotted across her thin nose which made her lips and eyes stand out. She was a very beautiful girl. She was also married too. She and her husband had been together since they were little when we all use to play around in the castle walls.

"Elena?" The voice snapped me out of my thoughts.

"Hm, what were you saying Kelly? Sorry I wasn't paying attention."

"I have a dress ready for you. If you would step this way." She announced. My face lit up when she mentioned the dress. When it came to dresses I tend to go all out. Even when I can't be bothered.

We were walking through the narrow corridor down to the flower changing rooms.

She pulled out a beautiful pinkish dress and a rose gold masquerade mask to go with it.

I took the dress and put it in on the changing rooms. I pulled the corset at right as it would go and pulled the dress over the top. I put in a pair of heels and applied my mask and cane out.

"Wow Elena your gorgeous!" She shouted. My cheeks were tinted pink at the sudden compliment.

"Thank you Kelly" I said with a smile on my face. I gave her the money and made my way back to the carriage.

20 minutes later...

We arrived back at the castle grounds. I stepped out of the old looking carriage to be greeted by a fully decorated castle. There were food and flowers everywhere. I went up to the big steps that went up to the big entrance to the castle. The guards bowed their heads in respect towards me and went back to guarding the door. I have a feeling that everything will go the way that I want it to.  Unless something out of the ordinary were to occur. But I guess we'll never know...  

I went back to my room to quickly do my hair and make up because I didn't bother doing it before going to the dress shop.  I called the maids and told them to do everything quickly. I looked at the time and saw that the clock read 7:45pm. Okay fifteen more minutes until I have to go to the ballroom stairs. I could hear the guests chatting amoungst themselves complimenting the castle as they made their way to the ballroom as they flooded in through the entrance.  

I couldn't help but think if the Ackermans would actually show their faces since I sent them an invitation personally.

Let's just hope that nothing goes wrong...

15 minutes later...

I arrived at the ballroom doors that will lead me out onto the balacony/staircase. I put on my mask and the doors open.

I was greeted by blinding lights and beautifully decorated dresses and suits that the guests had prepared for tonight's big event. Their masks hiding their identities making it hard to even recognise people.  My long white hair kind of gave my appearance away as it was securely tied up into a loose yet flawless bun. Pink pearls dotted through out it to really make it stand out fro the crowd.  My dress swayed with every step that I take shimmering in the light.  I made my way down the steps and everyones eye's were on me. The men stood staring as their partners eagerly tried to drive their attention away from me. The girls who stood their wonderign how they can get prettier. Its all the same. Girls want to be like me guy's want to be with me. Nothing old nothing new.

"Bring on the party" I mumbled whilst smirking.
