Elena's POV
At this moment Kenny was waiting for me in his carriage to go to the Ackerman kingdom. I was just bringing the rest of my bags down from my room for the trip.
I looked at my father as he stood and smiled at me.
"I'll see you soon father. Stay safe and don't worry about me I'll be fine." I gave him a soft smile and a hug. I felt his grip tighten as he knew he had to let me go into battle once more.
"I know you will just come back to me in one peace please? That's all ask for."
I nodded to him and got into the carriage where I had kept Kenny waiting. I was just wearing a plain uniform styled outfit which was smart and elegant.

I shut the door behind me and sat down opposite Kenny. I waved to my father as I felt the carriage start moving.

"So I would like you to know the further information on the disappearance of Levi." He looked at me seriously and I could tell he knew something.

I didn't speak as I wanted him to continue what he was going to say.

"As we already have the idea that the maid and traitor of my kingdom is Petra Ral. We have a high feeling that she has committed the crime and we need to hunt her down. I may have mentioned before but she is also the best assassin in the kingdom aside from Levi himself. This is why I have requested your help because we know that your the best assassin in the country"

"You want me to go after her with full force or do you want me to take precautions?"

"I would like you to take precautions if needed. Although she may be weaker than you are she still the best assassin the kingdom. She may be hiding something that we may not know or it may be a set up or a trap."

"Alright I understand but why would she do such a thing if she was loyal to your kingdom? The only idea that I can think of is that she may be a double agent working for your kingdom but feeding information to another." He looked at me shocked like I had just took the words out of his mouth. He smiled gently and nodded.

"That's exactly what we think has happened. We aren't sure which kingdom but we think it may have something to do with yours." I raised my brow at that confused.
"How would it be mine? We made a peace treaty with you so she shouldn't be attacking of violating the neighbouring kingdoms-" before I could finish what I was saying Kenny interrupted me.

"Then it must be one that's more far away from both of ours. I heard rumours and Levi has also told me that you were at war with another kingdom. Hence why we never saw you on the battle field in the past. No offence but we thought that you were scared. However you proved us wrong and you were battling two wars at once. For a lady of your age that is very brave and courageous and I apologise in advance for thinking that way of you." He liked down as he made his emotional speech about me. I smiled gently and spoke up in a soft and reassuring tone of voice.
