Elena's POV

I was still using my binoculars to see what was happening inside of the cottage. Petra was feeding Levi something that looked like bread? I'm not sure what it is but I flush of anger came over me. What is this feeling? Am I jealous over Petra's actions towards the prince? No that can't be right. I can't be jealous because that would mean one thing... I like Levi. That can't be the thing can it? Oh no now things are going to be awkward between us now.

I'm sorry feelings but I'm going to have to push you aside. I only do what's best for my kingdom and falling for my ex-fiancé or do I assume ex is not good. I can't fall for anyone... they will just be the same as all of the other suitors.

Elena no! You can't think of that when your on a rescue mission. Bad girl! I'm seriously going insane for a divine maiden...

"It seems like Lillith is still inside. What happens if she's been caught? Oh god no please don't be caught I need to know what's going on. Right now I'm useless from afar..." Mon neighed almost like she was agreeing with me. I rolled my eyes and kept my eye out for anything around me.

Levi's POV

I finished all of the hard bread and decided to wait until Petra had walked out of the room to communicate to the snake again. I need to know more information. I'm guessing that Elena sent the snake in to gather information for herself. Which means that the snake has to get back to her quickly.

Almost if cue Petra walked out of the room and went to do something which I'm guessing was this brilliant 'trap' she keeps rambling about. The white snake appears from its hiding spot and comes in front of me.

"Do you need to get back to Elena quickly?" I asked the snake. It gave me another hiss as a reply which I take as a yes. I give it a nod and the creature goes back out of the window and slithers off back to Elena.

I sit there once again bored with nothing to do. I really want to go home now, I can't wait to see Elena. I also wanted to discuss something to Kenny about the past. I can't help but have a feeling about Elena. I can't quite describe it though. Let's just say even since I locked eyes with her I felt intrigued but at the same time I felt scared.

I couldn't understand how anyone how someone younger than me could easily overpower me. It shocked me to be the least. She was a true warrior and she fights for what she believes in. She is the definition of brave. This woman inspires me to do better in life and I have a good feeling about her. I just can't think of what it is though. She's like everything I've been searching for in a girl. It must be love...

Elena's POV

I was still in the same position waiting for Lillith to come back to me. Me and Moon were sat here bored with nothing to do. Suddenly I felt something wrap around my neck to secure itself.

"Lillith I swear you need to stop doing that you scare the life out of me" the snake hissed and I rolled my eyes. I kept looking straight ahead and around me to check that. I was safe.

"Is there one person in the cottage and if there is I'm guessing it's Petra?" The snake hissed and I smirked.

"Does she have a trap to lure me in?" Another hiss. This game is far too easy Petra you need to up your game more sweetheart...

"Can I rescue Levi without fighting her?" No hiss. Which means that I have to fight her no matter what happens.

"Is Levi okay? He's not hurt is he" I asked. My voice becoming a bit quicker at the sudden worry. She gave out another hiss. I sighed in relief and smiled.
