Since your cramps are not even helping you for the whole day, Haechan decided to drop you off home by taking the bus. You tried to pry him off many times but only for him to shrug you off and resulted in him following you, making sure you can walk properly.

The air was heavy, both haven't talked for a long time. Though there were so many questions floating in their minds, no courage was made to lighten up the awkward silence.

This would be the first time Haechan went to your new house and he's curious too as to see how comfortable you were living without him.

Upon arriving in front of the big entrance, Haechan was left in awe due to seeing how spacious the garden was before arriving at the main door. "Well, maybe until here..?" You spoke awkwardly, trying to make him go away before anyone sees him.

Too late, a car pulled up in front of you, your mum's. "You're back from school, Yoojin?" She smiled as soon as she pulled down the window.

Your mother looked at Haechan up and down and immediately, he bowed like a good kid, he never was.

"Bring in your friend! I'm going to cook a feast tonight. Let's eat together!" She excitedly said, flashing a smile at Haechan and soon left before Haechan could reject the offer. You slowly looked at Haechan. "You don't need to co-"

"No, it's okay. I don't have any better things to do anyway. Plus, I want to see where you live after you decided to leave me." Haechan marched to the main door, making you soon dragged your feet, trailing behind him.

You know it's not a good idea.

You forgot.

Both Jaehyun and Taeyong were here.

Now, Haechan seemed uncomfortable for the rest of the meal time ever since he saw them. You didn't know why but it seems obvious they were not in a good relationship.

"So, you are Yoojin's friend?" Your step dad asked, trying to start a conversation and almost immediately, Haechan nodded, "Yes,"

You could tell he was nervous but you were not sure why he would be. It's not like him.

"I'm jealous of you, you must have been very close to her for her to trust you to walk her home. She even rejected my offer to pick her up from school sometimes," Your mum chuckled which made him smile shyly.

Scoffing, you leaned closer to him since he sat next to you. "Stop pretending all innocent. You are acting weird, doesn't suit you that much," He clicked his tongue, rolling his eyes at you and you suppressed your laughter.

After a delicious meal, you noticed Taeyong was staring at Haechan for a while now. "Do you know Taeyong?" You whisper to Haechan who is now scrolling his handphone.

He deeply exhaled, "Sort of?"

"What do you mean? Stop looking at the phone" You shoved his phone away and he immediately snapped at you.

"Jeez, what's wrong with you? Fine, yes I know him." He huffed, locking his gaze at you.

But you were not even intimidated at all "How?"

"All of us know them. They are United. The ones that have been pissing us off, and even now."

You knew this. The United, who your friends would always come back to bruises. You thought it was just a normal fight between high school teens, but turns out they fought with someone older at their age?

Haechan abruptly stood up. His gaze was boring sharply into Taeyong as well before he looked away. "I'm going home." he slung his bag on his shoulder and walked away.

Confusion was written all over your face, immediately you snapped out of thoughts and chased the boy.

"Wait!" You called him out, grabbing his attention making him stop on his tracks without even looking back. "So, can I be friends with them?" You asked. It took a moment for Haechan to turn to look at you.

"It's up to you, I don't care." His words carved a bullet in your heart.

He seemed like he didn't care about you. He was almost not himself anymore the moment he walked away from your house.
