She nearly spit her coffee out through her nose. She sat next to Larry on the sofa as he clicked through the photos of the house in Guadeloupe that he had surprised her with. Her mouth hung open in shock. He knew how much she enjoyed water, how much of a zen it was for her and had used that as a focal point for deciding which home would be the best one. When she saw the view of the bedroom, she nearly fainted.

"Holy shit, Lar." She exclaimed, practically throwing herself into his lap in order to get a better view. The master bedroom had it's own private veranda that opened out into a pool area. It appeared almost separated from the rest of the house since it faced the opposite direction as the other rooms, giving the room a very private atmosphere. "You seriously bought this?"

He chuckled softly, brushing her hair behind her shoulder, pressing a kiss against the curve of her creamy skin

He chuckled softly, brushing her hair behind her shoulder, pressing a kiss against the curve of her creamy skin. "Not quite yet, belle. It's been approved, but the paperwork needs our signatures before it's ours."

"I thought you and Laurent moved here to New York because you both tend to do a lot of work in the States?"

He nodded once. "Oui, we did, but this is for us, cherie. My home is where ever you are. I wouldn't care if it was half way across the world. I will always come home. Besides, I am sure we can arrange something where you and the babies can come with us on tour as long as your art doesn't take you in the opposite direction. My schedule is always full, belle, you know that, but I will make time for you and them." He stated, placing his hand against her belly. He was rewarded when the girls kicked against his palm. "Mon Dieu! They kicked!" He laid her back against the sofa and lifted up the shirt she wore. He smiled slightly when he realized it was one of his hoodies. His lips grazed over her abdomen as he murmured encouragingly to the twins in French.

Amanda ran her fingers over his afro, tangling in it affectionately. She laughed softly when one of them kicked so hard, she practically kicked him in the nose.

"Kicking daddy already, bebe?" He crooned, running his thumbs over her taunt skin.

"Can you blame them? You did just-"

"Shh." He warned, placing his fingers over her lips. "Not another word, belle, or you'll be punished."

"Threatening me with a good time again, Lar?"

His eyes glinted dangerously. "Don't tempt me, ma petite." He watched her bite her lip, contemplating on possibly defying him. "You are insatiable." He purred, sliding up on the sofa and settling himself more comfortably as he gripped her thighs and placed a leg on either side of his hips.

"I'm pregnant, what do you expect?"

He chuckled softly, brushing his lips across hers. "I think we should make the announcement."

"Which one?" She inquired with a quirk of a single brow.

"Both. I want the world to now know that you're my wife and you're pregnant with my twins."

"Shouldn't we inform family first?"

He sat back a bit, running a hand over his chin in thought. "Oui, that would probably be for the best. They may get upset if they find out on social media instead of from us directly." He reached for his cell phone on the table and sent Lau a text asking him to come over. "When Laurent gets here, we'll Facetime with Mama."

"Aww, goody. I haven't talked with Mama B in ages." Not that she's actually talked with her much since she didn't understand French. Either Larry or Laurent had always translated for the two of them, but from what she understood, their mother had adored her almost the instant they had first met. She knew that the Twins didn't keep anything from her but how much did she actually know about what had occurred between the three of them, four if you wanted to count Melissa which Amanda didn't. That woman needed her ass kicked and if she wasn't pregnant, she would have done that the other day when she had broken into their apartment. Since then, the locks had been changed and security in the apartment complex itself had been notified. The owner of the building even had a passkey installed on the main doors so that anyone who didn't know the code, couldn't get in. Each person who lived in the building had been given the code with strict instructions to not pass it out to strangers asking for it. They didn't want another incident like last time.

Their sentimental moment was broken when there was a knock on the door. Before either of them could get up to answer it, Laurent came in using the key that Larry had given him a copy of. It hadn't taken him long to get here. Excitement coursed through her. She knew that she was already part of the family, but finalizing the moment was something she had been anticipating for some time.

"What's up, mon frere?" Lau asked as he stepped into the living room, plopping down into one of the chairs.

"I wanted to contact Mama. I felt that now was a good time to make the announcement and I thought you might want to be here for it."

His gaze flicked towards Amanda and she caught both excitement and sadness in his own eyes. She knew why the latter was there. He was doing better than before, but it still hurt him about the whole situation. How much more hurt was he going to be when he found out that they were actually married and had been for several weeks without anyone else knowing? Larry picked up his phone again and set the Facetime call. They listened to it ring briefly before their mother finally picked up. Rapid fire French ensued and she nearly had a hard time focusing on the conversation. Next thing she knew, Mama B was crying. In a panic, her eyes flashed towards Lau, but he was looking rather pissed.

Oh shit. They were angry with them?

Larry reached out and took her hand in his, bring it up to press his lips against the backs of her knuckles. "Mama is ecstatic. She would like for us to come for a visit as soon as we can so we can celebrate." His eyes shifted towards his Twin. "Lau?"

It took him a moment to respond, but when he did, his voice was husky with raw emotion. Was he hurt that he hadn't been asked to go with them? Or was it for another reason entirely? Was it both?

"I wish you would have told me, mon frere. I understand why you wanted the privacy, but I would have liked to have been there." He would have loved to see what Amanda had looked like in her dress, but a part of him knew that it would have killed him to see her like that and know that she wasn't going to be marrying him. He sighed softly, running the palms of his hands over his face. "You do realize Mama is going to want you guys to have a ceremony again, oui?" The question he directed towards Amanda since his brother was engaged in another rapid fire conversation with Mama B.

"I figured as much."

"Are you prepared for the entire family? There's nine of us, cherie, plus their children."

"Family is family, Lau and you guys have welcomed me with open arms almost from the first minute I met you two. If I wasn't prepared for this, I wouldn't have married into the family to begin with. I love you all like my own."

"We are your own, belle. We are your family now."
