Frozen Wings

Chapter 3

Storms' POV

I had finally fallen asleep, still in my snow leopard form, after being up almost all night. The students had been worrying more and more about villains trying to break their way into UA, so I had been working later than usual patrolling the grounds to provide a little bit of comfort for them. Unfortunately, my sleep didn't last long. I was awoken by panicked screaming.

I jumped to my paws, diving off of the UA building. I swooped over to Heights Alliance, noticing the lights were on. Windows were broken, shattered glass inside. I slammed my weight into the doors, breaking in. "Storms!" Jiro ran over to me. "Jiro what's going on?!" I asked. "I-I don't know, there was a lot of noise, and I left my room, there was blood everywhere, w-we came downstairs, Dabi, Shigaraki and some Nomu were inside, t-they had a few black bags and were covered in blood, not their blood, a-and as soon as they noticed you coming they ran out the back, breaking a hole in the wall." She was on the verge of tears. "Hey, it's alright." I said. "NO, IT'S NOT YOU IDIOT!" Bakugo came running back. He looked like he had just run a marathon. "Bakugo catch your breath, moron." I growled. "N-NO TIME!" He snapped. "THEY TOOK THEM!" Bakugo continued shouting at me.

"Took who?!" I glared. "Kaminari, Kirishima, and Todoroki!" Iida replied, coming back as well.

"STORMS!" A panicked voice called me from out front. I turned around, running towards the person. Kendo raced over to meet me half way. "What's wrong?"

"They took Shinso!" She gasped for air. "Shit! Is everyone else alright?" I worried. She nodded. "Y-Yeah, just s-some minor injuries."

"Alright, go get your classmates, come right back here." I said. Kendo ran back to her dorm building. I went inside Heights Alliance, gathering all the available students. "Who's hurt?" I asked.

"Midoriya and Yaoyorozu." Ashido said. "Okay. Everyone, come with me! Grab your injured classmates and let's go." They quickly followed their instructions, following me outside. Kendo had returned with her classmates. "Follow." I said, leading them inside of the UA building and up into the 1-A classroom. "All of you, make yourselves as comfortable as possible. Try to relax." I instructed. I cautiously watched as they tried to calm down. I sat at the door, keeping Midoriya and Yaoyorozu close to me. Luckily I could mend their wounds with my ice, since they weren't fatal.

Suddenly, familiar forms entered the room. "What happened?!" Aizawa asked. "Damn villains got in." I growled. "Is everyon-"

"No, they took Shinso, Todoroki, Kaminari and Kirishima!" I growled, carefully standing up. I changed forms, leaving the room, shutting the door behind me.

"I thought you said you were also patrolling tonight!" My colleague insulted me.

"I did, idiot! I only got 30 minutes of sleep! Then I was woken up by screaming!" I snapped.

Hawks came rushing over out of nowhere. "And where were YOU during all this?!" I growled.

"I-I was-" He cut himself off. "It doesn't matter now anyways. Look, Yaoyorozu and Midoriya were injured. I healed them with my ice, but they'll need to be checked on later." I started to walk away.

"Storms where are you going?!" Mic worried. "I'm going to get the kids back." I said.

"You can't! It's too dangerous!" He said.

"Screw danger. I'd rather die than let these kids get hurt. So if I don't come back, that's exactly what happened."

"AT LEAST TAKE SOMEONE WITH YOU! WE DON'T ALL NEED TO BE HERE!" He shouted. I stopped again.

"I don't need help."

"I'm coming with you." Hawks walked over to me. I rolled my eyes. "Oh now you're interested in being helpful. Yeah, I don't think so." I spat.
