Hawks' POV

"Alright, that's everyone and everything." I walked up the stairs into the plane.

"Good. We can take off then." Aizawa sat down in his chair.

"Where is Winter?" I asked.

"Right here." She walked from the back half of the plane, where the students were at, into the front. I smiled, pressing the button to close the door. It whirred, shutting. I sat down next to Winter, buckling in for takeoff. She did the same.

"I loved this vacation, but I think I'm glad to go home." Winter said.

"Home? Don't you have a house?" I teased.

"Nope. Lived free for a while, sleeping beneath the stars or in an ice cave on top of a building whenever I wanted. Never had the time to find a home. So when I was offered to move into UA, I did. I like it there. It's more of a home than a house could ever be to me." She said. I smiled.

"UA really means the world to you, doesn't it?" Aizawa glanced at us.

"It does. I don't think I would have lived after escaping captivity if I didn't go to UA." She chuckled, glancing at the floor.

"Don't go there, Storms. It's over." He noticed the change in her mood.

"I know it is. Sometimes it's just hard to get myself to believe that, y'know?" She said.

"I understand. It's difficult sometimes." Aizawa nodded.

Winter gave him a grateful smile before looking away, focusing on nothing specifically. I took in a deep breath to relax my chest. I didn't realize how anxious I had gotten.

"Keigo? You alright?" Winter quietly asked, picking up my hand in hers.

"Huh? Yeah, thank you for asking!" I smiled.

"If you say so. I won't pry." Winter gently rubbed her thumb on the back of my hand. I blushed a little.

"I just got worried about you. I'd be devastated if you left this world." I admitted.

"Aw, Keigo. There's no need to be worried. I'm not going anywhere for a long time. Especially if I have more than one life to use!" She grinned.

"But what if you don't?"

"Then I don't. Either way, I have a job to keep my little UA family safe, you included. That's what I've chosen to dedicate my life to, so as long as y'all are around, I will be too." She took my worry a little more seriously.

"Can I ask you a bit of a weird question?" I asked. She nodded.

"Can't guarantee you it'll be classified as weird in my book, though." Winter said.

"Do you want kids?"

"Kids? I already have some. The students." She replied.

"No, I mean like... biological kids." I rephrased my question.

"Biological kids? No thank you." She shook her head before pausing and looking at me.

"Why?" She asked.

"I was just curious." I said.

"No, really, why? Did you want kids?" I saw guilt in her eyes.

"A-A little. But I honestly was curious! And besides, if you don't want kids, I swear there is no way I'm going to force that onto you." I said.

"Keigo if you want kids you don't have to stay with me. I'm not going to make you lose out on a dream just because I personally don't want kids." Winter smiled softly.
