Storms' POV

"No way in hell am I bringing him to UA! I don't give a damn about how injured he is, I'm not risking the lives of my students!" The fur bristled along my spine.

"Well, it's a little unsanitary in this alley, so what do you suggest?" Takami asked.

I snarled, slamming my tail, which I had covered in ice, into a pile of garbage. The trash turned to ice, exploding into minuscule snowflakes.

"Is that your attempt of making this more sanitary?" My friend raised an eyebrow.

"No, dumbass, it's called 'I'm trying to find another way to take out my anger rather than clawing you to shreds'." I snorted.

"Well, I appreciate it." He said, looking away for a moment.

"Look, I'm not mad at you, I'm just... frustrated. Now isn't a good time for this to have happened." I sighed, pacing the alley.

"Is there something important happening? I'm sorry if that's a dumb question, I've been trying to keep up with the schedule, I just-"

"You wouldn't know, don't worry. I know you're trying hard to keep up with everything." I eyed my friend before continuing my pacing.

"I'm sorry I dragged you into this, I shouldn't have. I wasn't thinking it through, I know it's a bad situation for both you and I. I shouldn't have gotten messed up in this." He shook his head.

I stopped pacing, looking at my friend. "Don't blame yourself. You needed help and you asked someone you trust. It is our job as heroes to take care of issues like this. I have to remember that I'm not just UA staff." I sighed.

"You work yourself so hard, Storms. I didn't need to take up any more of your time. I don't even know the last time you gave yourself a break." My friend looked away guiltily.

"I've got it under control. Right now we need to figure out what to do. It's not convenient that he's unconscious." I grumbled.

Suddenly, said unconscious villain groaned, waking up. I turned towards him, claws unsheathed. Takami, still down to one wing, stepped behind me a little bit.

The villain looked at us blearily, blinking the blurriness out of his eyes. He stared at us, seeming confused, shocked and afraid at the same time.

"What're you doing here? Why're you injured like that?" I snapped. He flinched at my tone and volume I was speaking in.

"I-I... had... t-to... g-get out..." He croaked. I narrowed my pupils.

"Out of what? You're one of the two strongest villains in the country. What would be attacking you?" I growled.

"S-Something... new..." He said, voice strained.

My snow leopard ears perked up.

"Something new? Like what? A Nomu?" I questioned. He weakly shook his head.

"I... d-don't... kn-ow w-what... it... is..." Blood was trickling out of the corner of his mouth.

"Frostbite, maybe we should heal him a little more before we continue with the questions..." My friend suggested, making sure to use my pro name.

"Not until he answers one question." I decided.

"A-Any...thing..." The injured villain replied.

"Is this a trap to hurt the UA staff or students? Don't even try to lie because I can tell if you are." I said.

"N-No... I-I'll explain..." He stuttered.

He's not lying.

I let out a frustrated sigh, padding over. I brushed my paw gently over him so an ice blanket dissolved into his body. He winced, falling still as it healed him. Eventually, the ice healed him a bit more.
