Frozen Wings

Chapter 7

Storms' POV

Do whatever it takes to make Hawks blush. Badly. To the point he can't speak.

The students' dare echoed in my head as I cooled off in the shower. I had already begun to plan everything out. But then I would have a better idea and have to scrap the plan before it and start all over. I continued to think about it while I stepped out of the shower and put on a nice outfit. It was simple, but nice. I chose a black tuxedo and dress pants with a white undershirt. My shoes were black dress shoes. I hated dresses so my few fancy outfits included my special hero costume, which was really the only costume I had since I generally fought in my non-human forms. The costume was only to be worn for big international events for pro heroes from around the world.

My other fancy outfit was a tuxedo like the one I was wearing but it had different colors. I was saving that one for a super special event. What it was, I wasn't sure. I hadn't figured that out yet.

"Now, the question of who I'll take with me... the kiddos will be upset if I try and go alone... ugh. I really don't want to pick someone though!" I groaned, going into the bathroom.

"I mean I don't really have any other friends, per say, except my colleagues... Ah! Maybe I can take Midnight! Haven't had a girls night in a while." I said.

Out of nowhere, something in the back of my mind started to make me think about my decision. I couldn't put my finger on what it was exactly. As I brushed my hair and fur on my ears and tail, I added a little bit of special product to my fur so it would feel silky. I usually didn't do much to get ready for the days, but again, the students were doing something nice for me.

And by nice, I meant stealing Endeavor's credit card.

I am SO gonna rub this in his face!

I snickered, enjoying the thought of Endeavor furiously coming over to insult me.

I finished up with deodorant, brushing my teeth and straightening my outfit out. I left my bathroom, going towards the door to my room, pausing as my hand touched it.

Right... who should I bring? I want to bring Midnight, but something's telling me to bring Hawks. Like... something bad will happen if I don't...

I shook my head to clear the thought, coming to a final decision. I picked up my phone.

I wanted to know if you were interested in coming to dinner with me? You'd need to wear something nice, since it's a fancy restaurant.

I'd love to! I wasn't expecting to go, so I'll need a few minutes to get ready 😅 I should be set in about... 10-15 minutes?

Yes that works. I'll meet you outside Heights Alliance. Gotta check on the students.

I put my phone in my pocket, quickly heading down to 1-A's dorm. I stepped inside. "Storms!" Yaoyorozu came running over to me, crushing me in a hug.

"Hey, kiddo! Are you alright?" I asked, slightly worried.

"Yes! My apologies, I did not to mean to scare you! I wanted to thank you." She said, her eyes twinkling.

"Thank me? What for?" I frowned.

"For saving Shinso, Kirishima, Kaminari and Todoroki's lives. Everyone was terrified that we wouldn't get to see them again. But we knew you'd bring them back. And you did. You saved them even though they were on the brink of death. Because of you, they're going to survive. You've not been in the dorms enough to see, but the four boys have had someone close by to them the whole time." She explained.
