"Whoa, y/n," Magnus says, watching you with concerned eyes, "Everyone's looking for you."

"I don't care," you say in a choked sob, "I don't-"

"Shhh," Magnus sighs, pulling you into a hug, "It's okay," he says, running his fingers through your hair, "Shhh," he hums gently.

"No, Magnus, I – I can't-"

"I know," he says, looking into your eyes. You sink into his arms as he pulls you through a portal and suddenly you're sitting on the floor of his apartment, huddled together.

"Make it stop," you cry, burying your face in his shoulder, "Please."

"I know it hurts," he says softly, "But it'll get better."

"What's going on?" Alec asks, walking into Magnus' apartment, "I got your text. Did you find... y/n," he sighs, spotting you on the floor as Magnus stands up, walking over to him and pulling him aside.

"She's drunk. Alec, she's completely heartbroken. Are you sure Jace-"

"Jace isn't going to change his mind. He's convinced he's protecting her from himself. Ever since he found out he's got demon blood he's been pushing everyone away but I never expected him to do... this-" he nods towards you.

"What did he do?" Magnus asks.

"He dumped her," Alec says, "She thought she'd give him some room to cool off and that she could fix it the next morning but when she found him in the morning, he was in bed with a Seelie."

Magnus pinches the bridge of his nose, "His self-destructive behaviour is no longer just self-destructive," he looks over at you, "I sensed her aura, Alec. I – I haven't seen or felt that kind of pain in so long."

"Can you help her?" Alec asks, "She won't talk to me, she think I'll just tell Jace. She needs someone, Magnus," Alec pleads.

"Of course," Mangus nods, "I'll take care of it."

"I'll let everyone know we found her," Alec says, pressing a kiss to Magnus' cheek as he leaves.

Magnus waits until Alec's gone to crouch down beside you, "Why don't I fix you a drink?" he says, tucking a strand of hair behind your ear.

You grab his hand when he stands up, "Please, Magnus, make it go away," you sob.

"I will," he sighs, "It'll be okay."

He returns a little later, hesitantly handing you a drink, "Have this. Nothing like a cup of hot chocolate," he clicks his tongue, "And a variation of booze mixed in."

You down it quickly, "Magnus," you say, your voice shaking slightly despite having calmed down, "I'm gonna need more than booze."

"I know," he nods, "Sleep it off. We can talk in the morning."

"Well, where is she?" Jace asks Alec, "You said Magnus would bring her in this morning."

"He'll be here in a second, so I suggest you leave," Alec says stiffly, "The last thing we need is for her to spiral out of control at the sight of you."

"I'm not going anywhere until I see she's okay," Jace says, his jaw tense.

"I'm fine," you say, walking over to him. Magnus stands next to Alec, watching you intently.

Jace's eyes search you, for any sign of you being hurt and you smile softly, "I'm fine, Jace."

You turn to look at Alec and Magnus, "I do, however, need a hot shower," you inhale deeply, "Thank you, Magnus," you say sincerely before heading upstairs.
