You could feel Jaces lips on your skin. It was a feeling you had grown accustomed to over the past few months and couldn't help but love. What the two of you were doing was wrong and somebody was bound to get hurt, but somehow you both kept drifting towards each other like magnets. The sexual tension eventually becoming unbearable, which lead to the first time. The first time then led to more, and now it happened to be a reoccurring thing.

Unfortunately, your intimate moment was stopped by Isabelle knocking on your door, both of your heads snapping towards the direction of the sound. The two of you quickly separated, both breathing heavily and in fear of being caught.

"We have a mission, Clary has gone missing again! Hurry up! And get Jace!" she shouted from outside the door, the sound of her heals becoming fainter and fainter.

"That was close" Jace whispered, a cocky grin planted on his face. He just had to look good all of the time, didn't he?

"Too close, Jace. We could've been caught!" you argued as you slipped your t-shirt on, which had been thrown across the room during your previous activities. Jace followed your actions, chuckling quietly to himself.

"Is that such a bad thing?" he asked, glancing towards you as he studied your reaction. You grabbed the pillow from your bed, thinking he was joking and hit him with it. "Get dressed, we've to save your precious little girlfriend again" you giggled as you walked out of the door.

"Not my girlfriend" you heard Jace shout from your room. You met Izzy and Alec in the weapons room, Jace slowly following behind you. You grabbed your seraph blade and daggers and turned towards the rest of the group. "Well, let us get this over with" you sighed as you all walked out of the institute, in hope to save the redhead once again.

You all ran towards an alleyway where Raphael claimed he had spotted Clary, you didn't know why he, out of all people, would want to help you all, but you weren't complaining. Alec, on the other hand, was. You all followed Raphael silently, Alec opening his mouth to complain, though luckily for you, he didn't have time as multiple demons came charging towards you all.

You tried your hardest to fight them off, throwing daggers at them and then running to retrieve them when they disintegrated. Unknown to you, you ended up further away from the group then you intended to and were cornered by a demon. "Well that's an attractive sight" you mumbled to yourself as it got ready to charge. You pierced it with your blade as you let out a shaky breath and ran back to your friends.

"Y/N!!" you heard Jace shout as you approached him, he didn't know where you were and that scared him. "Right behind you, pretty boy" you smirked as you stood behind him, facing the opposite direction. You heard him breathe a sigh of relief and grinned to yourself. "Worried about me?" you giggled, raising your eyebrows as you threw a dagger at a nearby demon.

"Nah, I was actually looking forward to being able to bring girls to my room without them hearing your snoring from the next room" he replied back as he killed the last demon.

"Why look for other girls when you could have this" you joked as you gestured to yourself, you saw something flash through his eyes as he admired you.

"Yeah you're right"

You all eventually found Clary, she was safe and once again, didn't thank any of you for your help. It was as you all were walking home that Raphael approached you. "So, Y/N, dinner on Saturday? how does that sound?" he smirked, walking in line with you.

"Horrible"

Unknown to Jace you were actually declining Raphaels offer, the boy immediately assumed the worst when he saw the vampire approach you and was almost certain that he had blown his shot to ask you out. Jace actually thought you were flirting back with Raphael and that infuriated him to no end. That is actually what caused him to rush over to you and pull you away from Raphael and into his chest. "You can go now" he coldly told Raphael as he glared at him with a look of pure hatred.

"And why would I do that?" Raphael innocently asked, a cocky smile plastered on his face as he tilted his head to the side, Jace immediately took an intimidating step towards Raphael, gently pushing you behind him.

"How about so I don't punch you in the face"

"I'll see you later, Y/N" Raphael winked after a few moments of hesitation and walked off, Jace glaring at the back of his head. Boy, if looks could kill.

"Why did you do that" your voice made him snap his head towards you, involuntarily checking to see if you were hurt. "What do you mean?" he asked, unaware of what he could have possibly done wrong.

"I'm not a little girl, Jace. I can take care of myself. I'm not Clary!" you argued, trying to make it clear that you weren't some damsel in distress who needed saving. "I didn't say you were!" he defended as his hands shot into the air. "Then stop trying to save me when I am not in danger!" you replied.

"He was just trying to get into your pants!" Jace was started to become angered, not expecting to end the day with a fight. "Oh, and that's completely different from what you're trying to do?" you commented as you crossed your arms and looked at him with a pointed look. Jace's face dropped as he looked at you with sad eyes. "I care about you!" he almost shouted.

You took a step closer before you spoke again. "We're just friends! Why do you care so much that a boy was flirting with me" You both looked into each other's eyes, you waited for Jaces' answer, but it never came.

Instead, he grabbed your face and crashed his lips onto yours. You could hear your friends shocked gasps from behind you and you smiled into the kiss. Jace soon pulled away and leaned his head onto yours. "We're not just friends and you fucking know it"
