MEADOW FLETCHER AND CARL GRIMES
April 24, 2017
4:30 PM

"I think we got about a day's worth of water left." Rick said, his shoes scuffing against the train tracks, "We're lucky it's cooled off a little bit, but," Rick turned around, Meadow and Carl we balancing on the train tracks, Michonne watching them carefully, "What are you three doing?"

"Winning a bet." Carl said, concentrating on balancing. "In your dreams." Meadow said, holding her arms out. "I'm still on." Carl said. "Meadow won against me," Michonne said, "She's a natural." Carl began to lose his balance, Michonne laughed, "Spoke too soon, wise guy."

"This might go on a while." Ryan said looking at Rick, Rick grinned, "Maybe we can speed this up."

"Yeah you're right. We shouldn't be fooling around." Meadow said looking down at the tracks, putting one foot in front of the other, "We should probably-" Meadow paused, she threw her hands in Carl's direction, "Carl!" Meadow's foot slipped off the tracks as she lost balance, she caught herself, groaning.

"I win. Pay up." He said looking Michonne, getting off of the tracks, he held his hand out. Michonne reached into the duffel bag, pulling out three candy bars. Meadow looked at Carl as her eyes darted to the Coffee Bar. Carl's hand hovered over it, but moved towards the Big Cat bar, "Is this really the last Big Cat bar?" He asked. Michonne grinned, nodding her head, "Oh come on." She said.

"Hey, but you said winner's choice." Michonne handed him the bar, "Go ahead, take it. It's yours. You won it fair and square."

She handed Meadow the Coffee Bar, Meadow grinned. Rick looked at the three of them, shaking his head, grinning.

Meadow opened the bar, splitting it in half, handing a piece to Ryan, Ryan shook his head, "Those are gross." "Whatever you say."

She put her hand out towards Rick, beckoning him to take it, he shook his head, "No, I'm fine, thank you though."

Carl already broke his Big Cat bar in half, handing a piece of it to Michonne, "Come on, we always share."

Michonne looked down at the half of the bar, "Fork it over." Carl handed her the bar, Michonne popped it in her mouth. Carl looked at Meadow, holding a smaller piece of his Big Cat bar out, "I wanna try a piece of that Coffee Bar." Meadow turned her head away, "Hm, I don't know." She grinned, he looked at her, mouth agape, "Oh come on."

She broke another piece from her Coffee Bar, handing it to him and taking the piece of the Big Cat bar from him, she put the bar in her mouth, "I've never had a Big Cat bar, until now." She said, "I've clearly been missing out." She looked sad, Ryan chuckled, "You did, when you were way younger, you probably don't remember, but Aunt Susie always gave you a piece of hers when she had one. You always waddled your way over to her, holding your hand out and you always said, "Aunt Susie, can your favorite niece have some, pretty please."" Ryan laughed at the story. "Aunt Susie?" Meadow questioned. "She passed before you turned four, you probably wouldn't remember her, either."

Meadow nodded, "Well, I guess I did have a Big Cat bar."

Rick laughed turning away from them, Ryan doing the same, they continued walking down the train tracks.
