Last night I spent the night at Leanne's place. It was so fun and amazing!!! I'd better tell you all about it.
When the library closed, Leanne drove me to her place in her sparkly blue car. We talked the whole way there. Her house was on the other side of town, and it wasn't long before we got there. She lives in a beautiful little white cottage with a garden of roses out front and a stone path leading up to it. When I first saw it, I was like, Wow. Is this really where she lives? It's just like something out of a book!
Once inside, Leanne lit the fire and told me to "make myself comfortable." She gave me a book to read, told me to sit by the fire and went off to make dinner. I read the book and was able to finish it before dinner. It was a very good book and I really recommend it. Maybe I should tell you what it's called. It's Kristy's Great Idea by Ann m. Martin. It's the first book in a series called The Baby- Sitters Club and apparently Leanne was addicted to them when she was my age. I can totally understand that.
Just as I finished it, dinner was ready. It was lentil and mushroom Lasagne and it was amazing. Leanne is the best cook ever, and I hadn't realized how starving I was. I hadn't eaten any proper food ever since the fire. While we ate, I told her how much I'd loved the book. She told me that there were hundreds of books in the series! Am I looking forward to that. She also told me that she has all of them. Isn't that great?
After dinner me and Leanne sat by the fire in armchairs and talked about my family. She really seemed to understand me, and even started crying! Of course, I cried, too. We had lots of hugs and used up three whole boxes of tissues. We talked into the night, until we got so tired that we couldn't talk any longer, and just fell into bed without even changing our clothes.I'm so lucky to have someone like Leanne. I will definitely visit her again many times.

Another day of reading all day.I'm still not bored of it, but I wish I could read a Baby-Sitters Club book. I can't wait to read them all!Write now I'm reading a Harry Potter book instead. That will have to do for now and I shouldn't complain. It's not like Harry Potter is some extremely boring series, anyway. In fact I can't wait to get back to it!Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
