August 2, 2015

I didn't write yesterday because I was feeling depressed about another month going by. I didn't have to go to school because it was Saturday, but I buried my face in a book all day to forget reality. I couldn't even write my story.Today it is the weekend, so I don't have to go to school! The library isn't even open today, so I'm going to be alone the whole day. I'll probably just read most of the day, and write my story.It's not going to be too bad, but I'll suppose I'll have to do my homework too. At least I'll enjoy my history homework, because we're still studying the history of books. But for now I'll write in my diary.It's early in the morning right now. I just woke up on the couch in the children's area, where I usually sleep. The sun is coming into the room through the window and I can see dancing dust particles. I am surrounded by books. It's the best feeling to wake up in the morning surrounded by books, waiting to be read. Now I'd better read one!

Hey, I just realized that I never finished the Harry Potter series! I read the second to last book and was put off by the ending. I never mentioned it in my diary but... how could the author just send them on a quest, kill Dumbledore and then have Harry find out it was all meaningless? But now it's been ages and I should probably finish the series. So goodbye, I'm going to read it!

Last night I stayed at Leanne's place. We watched a movie, The Secret Garden. It's a really good movie! And then Leanne told me there's a book! Of course I started reading it as soon as I got home from school today. I just finished it now. It was really good!

Anyway, I read the last Harry Potter book the other day. It was amazing! Such an amazing series! I was talking to my friends about how amazing it is at school today. All of them who had read it agreed, which was basically everyone except Amelia. She said that her parents won't let her read it, but she's thinking of reading it anyway without her parents' permission. I wasn't sure how to respond. Because although I think everyone should read Harry Potter... Amelia is ever so lucky to still have parents. Of course I couldn't say that though, because then I'd have to tell everyone about the fire.

Today was a good day at school. I got assignments back in just about every single one of my subjects. I got really good marks in most things. The worst was probably maths, which I only just passed. Evie, of course, got top grades in everything.

I'm really excited, because Emma's going camping for her birthday on the weekend and I'm invited! We're even going to the adventure park! It will be such fun!

Tomorrow is Emma's birthday at school, then we're going camping for two nights! I can hardly wait another day! I'm so impatient that I can't bear to write.
