The start of a new month. It has now been MORE THAN HALF A YEAR since the fire. This is crazy. It never should have happened. I should be still living at home with my family, but I'm not.I was at Hannah's place yesterday afternoon, and I came so close to telling her everything, about the fire, about living in the library. I mean, extremely close. So close it's scary. The words were practically on my lips, just about to come out... but I stopped myself just in time. What was I thinking of to tell Hannah, of all my friends? She has always been the most closed-minded of all our friends. Of course she wouldn't believe me!

Anyway, I'm still writing my story and reading a lot of books. I read a book called Wonder, which was pretty good. I'm now up to chapter 45 in my story. A lot is happening, but it's not the climax... yet. Althea has met a few friends who have offered to help her (she can only really take one on her quest, but hasn't chosen which one yet. She thinks it may be the choice that Eternalee mentioned... I haven't decided whether it is yet.) They are now escaping a castle dungeon, and it's a very action packed scene. But the climax isn't even near. She's not near to saving the magic of books yet.Anyway... I need time to choose my next read. Bye!!!

I felt like I was running out of stuff to read, but luckily, I remembered that I'd promised Evie I'd read The Chronicles of Narnia. Of course they had them at the library, so I read the first one, The Magician's Nephew. It was AMAZING!!! I absolutely love fantasy books, and this is one of the best I've ever read. I'm going to read the next one right now.

I have now read all the Narnia books, as well as a book called Star. The Narnia books were all amazing, I couldn't stop reading them! Star was good too. Not as good as Narnia but still good.

Anyway, I had school today. I told Evie that I was reading Narnia. She was so happy! Hannah was pleased too. We talked about Narnia for ages after that. Our other friends acted all left out because since they hadn't read the books, they couldn't really join the conversation, except for Lily who's watched the movies. I told them all they had to read it, which made Evie even happier. At the end of our last class she invited me over after school tomorrow. I'm looking forward to it.

Lately we've been writing poems in English, learning about decimals in maths, learning about plants in science, and learning about the middle ages in history. Everything is interesting, maybe school isn't so boring after all. I've always gone through phases of liking and not liking school... although I'd still rather be reading all day. I suggested to Miss that we study the history of books as our next history topic... she agreed! I'm so excited.

Anyway, I think there's a great book waiting for me.

In fact, I know there's a great book waiting for me.

There's always a great book waiting for me.

A great book waiting to be read.So goodbye. I've got to find it.
