So it's been ages since I last wrote. Nothing much has happened. School is the usual. Friends are also the usual (aka great) as well as the Anti-Book Movement (aka unbearable) and books (aka amazing). My story is coming along very well. I don't think I'm that far off from finishing now.Anyway, that's all. Bye!!!

The last day of August.Wow, this year is going past so quickly. In only a few months it will be a whole year since the fire. How have I been managing so well without my family?I hardly wrote at all this month. It's depressing. I will try to write more often next month.
Quite a bit has happened over the last 11 days. Johnny had a birthday party in the park last weekend. It was fun. I went for a sleepover at Lily's house the other day, which was also really fun.We talked about Harry Potter and Inkheart. Lily has read the whole Inkheart series. I also had a sleepover at Leanne's and this time she actually let me borrow two Baby-Sitters Club books! I finished both of them the next morning and gave them back to her.Anyway, that's all for now. Bye! I'm going to read.

Yesterday I couldn't write. Emma unexpectedly asked me over for a sleepover and of course, since I had no parents to tell me I couldn't go, I agreed. It was really fun! I love Emma! She is my best friend forever!!!

Today Evie was in the library after school. It was so nice to see her! We talked about Narnia and I recommended The Baby-Sitters Club to her. She said her mum has them but she's never read them. But now she's going to read them! Yay! Now she just left and I'm writing. Then I'm going to read.
