My second day of living at the library has gone brilliantly.
Since I arrived I have read five whole books.
"Whoa," you say? "How could you do that?" Well, I am proud to say that I am a bookworm. I've been one since I was six and I quite often read a whole book in one evening. Okay. Wanna know what books they were and if I recommend them? Well, here goes...
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
"Whoa," you say again? "I mean, that book is huge!" All right, I know that, but I read the whole thing in two hours! And it's really good! I read the first four books in the series before the fire and they're good, too. But the Order of the Phoenix is my favourite so far.
The Key to Rondo.
This book is by the same author as that series Deltora Quest that everyone seems to read. I didn't really enjoy Deltora Quest that much, but I loved this book! I started it right after I finished Harry Potter, looked to see if the next one was there, saw that it was out, saw this book (It's quite near the Harry Potter series on the shelf.), thought it looked interesting and pulled it out. I stayed up most of the night reading it, and when I finished it, I was so tired that instead of getting another book, I just fell asleep.
My Best Friend and Other Enemies.
Okay. You probably haven't heard of this book, but it's awesome. And I want to prove to you that I don't just like fantasy. This book is about as far from fantasy as you can get, but I just loved it!
Stealing Freedom.
This book is based on a true story about a black slave from America. I usually find that kind of thing boring, but if this was boring, then the world isn't a world!
Diary of a Wimpy Kid.
Everyone always goes on about how good this book is, so I decided I might as well give it a read. I actually didn't like it that much.
I have read all day. What heaven to read all day and not have any commitments! Maybe living in the library isn't so bad after all! Okay, I've had enough of writing now. I think I'll go now, choose another book and read some more.
