Today was a good day. I spent the whole day reading, and knowing that I have six whole weeks of reading to look forward to! I read Inkdeath, the last book in the Inkheart series. It was so good. It's such a good series.Only a few days left until Christmas now! I can hardly wait!

Today was another amazing day of reading! I'm so loving these amazing days of reading... and knowing that instead of going back to school tomorrow, I have another amazing day of reading, and many more to come! Knowing that instead of just two amazing days of reading and then back to school, I HAVE SIX AMAZING WEEKS OF READING!!! I'm so full of joy that I almost can't bear it! I feel like I'm about to burst!

It's Monday, but I'm not at school.Usually on Mondays I have to get up really early and rush around getting ready for school. But today, I slept in late, and when I woke up, instead of rushing around, I just grabbed a book and started reading! And I knew that it was perfectly okay to do this, that I wasn't missing out on anything or breaking the law,everything was fine and I could just relax and read. It really is the most wonderful feeling.

I think you can guess what I did today.That's right, I read all day again. I'm so predictable, aren't I?But I'm also very excited... only two days until Christmas Eve,when I am going to Emma's house for the celebration and staying the night!!! I can't wait!!!

Christmas Eve is tomorrow!!! I absolutely can't wait!!! I probably would have exploded with impatience if I didn't have books to distract me. It's lucky I have books, isn't it? I read all day again. And Leanne finally gave me my story back. She's had it for a whole month now! How did she take so long to read it?She said that she'd almost finished it ages ago when I spent the night at her place. And why did she smile so mysteriously when she gave it back to me?

Yay!!! Christmas Eve is finally here!!! And I'm about to leave right now to go to the party!!! The library will not be open tomorrow when I get back, but Leanne gave me the key so that I can get in anyway. I'm bringing my diary too so that I can write there.

This celebration has been so wonderful!!! I got so many wonderful gifts, including lots of books and a new diary!!! We played lots of games and sung Christmas carols together with Brooke playing the piano (she's such a good pianist!), and the food was amazing! Now I am in bed with all my friends and we're about to turn the lights out so bye!!!
