I had such a bad day at school.We didn't learn anything interesting today. I got my science assignment back and I failed. The Anti Book Movement harassed me about it for the rest of the day. What's more, Elva got the best marks on that assignment out of the whole class, including Evie. Of course she decided to hold this over Evie's head, and bullied her about it until she began to cry. But it was even worse with me.
"Library girl!" they jeered. "I suppose you think you should be top of the class because you read? Well, think again!"
"Look at me," said Elva. "I don't read, and my assignment was the best in the whole class. You're a nerdy bookworm girl,and you were the only person in the whole class that failed! You know how they say that books make you smart? Well they're wrong. Today proved that books actually make you stupid."
I still get angry every time I think about it. How dare she even suggest that books make you stupid?

Today was a good day. The leaders of the Anti Book Movement were all absent. Emma and Evie both invited me over on the weekend. I'm going to see both of them. Now I want toread. Bye!
