I had such a good time at Amelia's yesterday! We played Snakes & Ladders for ages. We held a championship (the first to win ten games is the champion) and I won! We spent the rest of the time talking about books.

Today was a good day at school. The leaders of the Anti Book Movement were all absent. Me and my friends played lots of games together in the breaks and Hannah gave us all invitations to her birthday party. Class was good too.

Tomorrow is the weekend. Yay!!! Two whole days of reading!!! And I'm also staying with Leanne tomorrow night.

I think it probably goes without saying by now that I had a great time at Leanne's place. And yes, I did read more Baby-Sitters Club books. She made spinach and feta pie for dinner, which was amazing as always with Leanne's cooking. She told me she's really enjoying my book, and that she's almost finished reading it. That made me glow with pride! We talked a lot about books too, of course. We spent ages talking about Narnia especially. She used to love them when she was a girl.

Tomorrow is school again. And it's also the last day of the month.

Today was a good day at school again. I've been really enjoying school lately, although of course I'd rather be at home in the library reading all day. I learnt a lot today. I learnt how to switch from fractions to decimals to percentages in maths, how to write a pantoum in English (it's a complex type of poetry which is very intriguing), and the story behind a couple of random sayings in History (we're beginning an assignment on"The Origins of Belief", and we're going to study stuff like old legends, superstitions and idiomatic expressions, like we were studying today.) I also learnt a new word: effervescent. It means light and bubbly, and Miss used it in a sentence in class which was how we learnt it. I am so looking forward to Hannah's party next weekend.Today is the last day of November. In only one month, it will have been a whole year since the fire!!! I can hardly bare the thought of it.
