Wow. For once I managed to not skip a day!!! But sorry, bad news is coming. The only reason I am writing is because I can't find my story. I do not know where I put it, and I'm quite worried... will I finish writing it? At least you'll have me back in the meantime.

Today has been a good day. I read a book entitled Careful What You Wish For. It is really good and extremely thought-provoking. Okay... I sound like a blurb now. Whoops!Better get back to talking normally.Anyway, after I finished that book, all I wanted to do was...write. And I couldn't find my story, so I grabbed my diary. Of course I would rather be writing my story, but... hey, what kind of thing is that to say to you? That was mean. Sorry. But I am really upset about losing my story. I have so many ideas about how it could go next! I sure hope I find it...

Tomorrow is school again. I am looking forward to seeing my friends. I'm not looking forward to doing work instead of reading all day, and I am dreading seeing members of the Anti Book Movement.

Oh my God!!! Someone just said: "Hi, Rosa!" I just about jumped up in the air!

I look up. It's Emma! Yay!!! I'd better put you away now and hang out with Emma. Bye, diary!

Needless to say, I found my story.I mean, I haven't written for ages! What other explanation would there be... unless something terrible had happened to me.And I'm so glad it didn't.

A lot has happened in the story. Althea gets extremely misled by the hallucinations the enchanted water brings. She is lead by a mysterious (not real) woman to a beach and told that to restore the magic of books she must swim to an offland cave. She obeys, and... almost drowns. A young boy named Leo saves her.He takes her to his house on the island. He is kind, but the rest of his family is evil. He builds a boat and helps her escape from them in secret. This is where I'm up to. Bye, now! I want to read.

I haven't written for AGES!!! I wrote more of my story, read a lot and stayed at Leanne's. But I should have written at least once!!!Leanne recommended a whole lot more books to me. I have started one of them, called Inkheart. It is really interesting, and even reminds me a little of the book I'm writing! Jut a little though. I read a whole lot more Baby-Sitters Club books when I was at her place, but I left my diary at the library.

Life is good. School is boring, friends are great, books are amazing, my story is coming along well, and the Anti Book Movement are terrible. Basically, the usual. Basically the usual.Or as normal as it has been since the fire. I still can't get use to the fact that my family is gone forever. I'm tearing up right now just at the thought of it. No, I will not let myself cry onto the page. And in a few days the month of May will be over.
