Brooke's party was AMAZING!!! Let me tell you all about it:I was the first to arrive. Evie arrived soon afterwards, and we all went to the dining room to wait for the others to arrived. They all arrived one after the other. Johnny arrived late. Finally, when everyone had arrived, we all went outside for a treasure hunt. Brooke has a huge backyard, and the clues were very difficult to find. They were also extremely well written.(Brooke's mother, who made them, is a renowned poet, so no wonder!) I was in a team with Emma. We didn't win, Lily and Evie did. (they've become best friends.) But that didn't matter, because we all got to share the prize!!! And the prize was amazing, because it was a big box of... BOOKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can you imagine anything more incredible? They were a mixture of new books that Brooke's mum had been given for free from her publishing company, and her old books from when she was a girl. There was so many, and we could choose whichever ones and however many we liked. There were quite a few Baby-Sitters Club books!!! Of course I took all of them, as well as some other books.
After the treasure hunt, we had some snacks. Then we went to Brooke's room and played games. We played charades and hangman and snakes & ladders, and then we took book quizzes from old magazines, online and quizzing each other about all our favourite books. Most of us all like the same books, and Evie seems to like them too, although she was shocked that none of us had read The Chronicles of Narnia except Hannah. I promised to read it as soon as possible... anything for a new book to read, and I've heard it's really good!
We also listened to music from Brooke's CD player... she has an extremely diverse taste so she managed to cater to all of our music tastes even though most of us like different music. Then it was dinnertime, and dinner was amazing!!! We had homemade pizza, and the best I've ever tasted. But then, Brooke's mum has always made the best pizza. After dinner we had Brooke's birthday cake (a banana cake, which is what she always has), with pistachio ice cream. After we'd all finished eating, we went back to Brooke's room, where we took MORE book quizzes and listened to MORE music until bedtime. It was a sleepover party, and we all stayed up all night talking about books. It was amazing!!!

I have now read all the books I got from Brooke's party. They were all amazing!!! I'm "donating" them to the library now as I've finished them and the library doesn't have any of them. Why keep your own books when you live in the library?Anyway, I haven't written any of my book for two days, so I'd better write it now. Bye!!!
