We are actually studying the history of books in school.
It's just amazing!!! It's so interesting and I'm so excited to be studying the history of my favourite thing! All my friends seem to be enjoying it too, but Elva, who's in our class, of course acts completely disinterested. She's told the rest of the Anti-Book Movement about it and they gave me and my friends a really hard time about "enjoying it." Especially me.
Anyway, it was really fun visiting Evie last Wednesday! We talked about Narnia and she told me about her old school.Apparently she had no friends and everyone made fun of her for"being a nerd." I feel really sorry for her, coming from a whole school of people like the Anti-Book Movement. I'm so glad she has us now.Her mum is also really nice. She's pretty, a great cook and a cheerful person. She seems so happy to have me over, probably because she's happy that her daughter has friends. She also loves books (yay!) and seems very intelligent. (I think I know where Evie got those from!) She used to be a high school English teacher and knows about quite a few of my favourite books. She also loves Narnia and joined our conversation about it at dinnertime. (she was the one who passed the books on to Evie, and was very pleased to hear that she'd recommended it to me.)We had coconut cream curry and rice for dinner... it was divine.
I've read quite a few books!!! I read Anne of Green Gables,Just Grace Goes Green and some of the Secrets of Droon series. All these books were very different from each other, but all were good. I've also written some more of my story, but not much. I've been too busy with homework and reading. Those things take up a lot of time.Anyway, right now it's late, I'm tired and I need to go to bed.Bye!!!

I have written an amazing song for my book that I'm soproud of! It's sung by Asda, the minstrel of the Elf Court, where Althea was recovering from a terrible injury but now has to leave.I'll copy the song out for you here:
Now comes the time for us to part
It saddens us to see you go
But though we we grieve with all our hearts
We must farewell you, for we know
Adventure lies ahead of you
Your destiny awaits the test
You hero in the making who
Must go fulfil your noble quest
Take with you this Elfin Charm
Enchanted with a magic spell
That will protect you from all harm
Goodbye, my friend, we wish you well.
Isn't it so beautiful? I cannot believe I wrote something so amazing!!! I should probably add that the elves in this story are book lovers, which is why they think Althea is so noble and consider her quest so important.Anyway, gotta go! Bye!
