chapter 28: youth

Wounds on the soul is hard to heal. The older the wounds get, the deeper it shapes. Older wounds take more time to heal. However if you even heal, the scar will always be left on the soul. These scar will remind you the path that you've passed wasn't easy. It was hard, dangerous and risky. Even if it was hard to pass, wasn't it beautiful the place you reach?
Taehyung looked at the mirror. He smiled lightly while looking at himself. He had every right to be joyous. He had every right to smile while looking at the mirror. He fell in love when he entered the famous paint shop of the city. He fell in love oblivious that someone fell in love with him as well. While Taehyung was suffering with his low confidence, while he wasn't sure of himself, while he felt useless and untalented. He never knew those times. Never knew that he is blooming cherry blossoms on someone else's soul. He didn't knew he could be the reason of a new, fresh start. He didn't know he could be cure to the wounds. To those deep, painful wounds Seokjin had. Taehyung thought if those times Seokjin had someone to talk about his problem, then he wouldn't suffer so much. The pain is hard until you keep it in yourself. Taehyung also knew the path they've both walked on was all destined to mingle Seokjin and Taehyung's lives. Taehyung smiled wider. He had every right to smile. Seokjin opened up himself to Taehyung for the first time. It was painful. Everything happened to him all at the same time. Jjangu, his parents and Ken beside the collage, not to mention financial problems. Everything at the same time was a wrecking ball which could wreck Seokjin. But the man stayed strong, finished his collage and opened the best art shop. His out sight was perfect. Inside Seokjin was numb.
Taehyung smiled wider. The night Seokjin talked to him about all those painful past Both cried till morning. Seokjin's head on Taehyung's chest. Both cried and trembled. Seokjin had kept so much for himself, when he let out all, it was so much to hold his tears. Taehyung welcomed the tears. He wanted Seokjin to be vulnerable and weak in their blue home when it was only them. Taehyung wanted to be Seokjin's strength out of this blue home.
It took three months. Three months of healing process. The next morning after their crying session, Taehyung came back with two tickets. Seokjin was surprised and wanting to reject but it happened after all. It was one week later when they both got on the airplane which was destined to Hawaii. They were restless. Long beach walks, laying on the Sands at nights and watching the sky. Swimming and playing in the water. Seokjin giving a piggy back to Taehyung who was clinging to him like a koala. They dived and saw the fishes. Taehyung never could forget the excited, baby face Seokjin had when they came back to beach. They drove jet ski and raced with each other. Taehyung loved the happy excited voice Seokjin was making even though he was losing. They did kite-surfing together. Taehyung loved the windshield laughter whenever water splashed on his face. Not to forget the making out sessions they had every night. Taehyung's body exhausted every morning but also excited for exploring new things with his lover.
Seokjin and Taehyung came back after three weeks of Hawaii journey. They came back and slept for straight one week before getting on the plane again. They traveled to Alaska this time. Taehyung hated the cold weather but loved it every time Seokjin embraced him tightly to share his warmth. Cold weather caused more making out sessions because it made both hot even if it was on the snow. They did flightseeing together which caused Seokjin to gaspe out of excitement. They visited the widelife Alaska had, which put both in awe how this animals lived in this cold weather. They kayaked through the sea while watching the iceberg lagoons and wonderful lakes. They camped for a day at Denali national park which lead them to make out there too. They stayed at Talkeetna downtown for a week and spared time to relax the silence. They came back from Alaska after one month. Thanks to both they had worked enough to save for this kind of abroad vacations. They stayed indoors for a month at Seoul. They were both really grateful about Soobin. he was handling the shop while the couple was completing their healing process. After one month they decided to fly one last time. They got on the plane to France. Paris was more a place where they held hands tightly. Embraced each other with feathers of love. They enjoyed The Sunset At Butte Beygeyre. They had lovely picnic which was full of love and warmness at Canal Saint-Martin. They visited Le Mur Des Je t’aime, and saw how they could say I love you in languages. They saw some romantic lovely works at Musée de la Vie Romantique. They shared a kiss under stained glass of Sainte-Chapelle. And the Eiffel tower. They went to the highest spot they could go, observed the city from up there. Hand to hand, warm and love full.
They came back from France soon too. Today was the next day they came back to Seoul. Exhausted from the travels. Taehyung took a shower before watching himself in the mirror. He smiled widely. He had every right to do. His life was the best and even getting better. He went out to their shared bedroom. Seokjin was sleeping tight under their fluffy blue blanket. Taehyung snaked next to him before wrapping his arms around Seokjin's neck.

"Morning" Seokjin murmured. Taehyung bumped their noses lightly.

"Morning hyungie" Taehyung answered before kissing Seokjin's lips. Trailing kisses on his cheeks and jaws.

"You're my remedy" Seokjin said with his morning hoarsed voice. Taehyung kissed him.

"You're my remedy as well" Taehyung answered with wide smile. He has every right to do.

"You're my home" Seokjin whispered with a kiss on Taehyung's neck. Taehyung giggled.

"You're my home too" Taehyung whispered back. They were each other's. They meant to be.
