Headcanon of Anne and Gilbert being adults and parents, side note: I came up with this and thought u would be cool to do

•Gilbert being a county doctor in Charlottetown working a 9-5 job while Anne is being a teacher taking over Miss Stacys class at the old practicality new Avonlea school house
•Having a 10 year old daughter named Annabelle Blythe and a son who is 5 named Derek Blythe
•Gilbert Being Protective of Annabelle when she brings a boy home at the age of 16, along with her brother Derek who is 11 who is also protective
•Annebelle having a hard time choosing wheater or not to be a county doctor like her father, or a teacher like her mom
•Annabelle taking the queens entrance exams like her mom and dad did, along with Derek when he's at the age of 16
•Annebelle attending queens college and taking over her moms old dorm
•Annabelle bringing a boy home while Anne is smiling and happy for her daughter while Gilbert is happy, but yet dying in the inside that his little girl is growing up
•Anne and Gilbert being at the proposal of Eric and Annabelle that Eric has planned
•Gilbert giving Annabelle away to Eric at the age of 26
•Anne and Gilbert trying to get Derek through school
•Annabelle having a little girl and little boy named Erika and Eleic with Anne and Gilbert by her side
•Derek getting married to Samantha
•Derek having kids with his wife Samantha along with Anne and Gilbert by his side making Gilbert say "good job son you did it!"
•Anne and Gilbert being together at an old age
•Anne passing first, then a few years after that Gilbert passing last
