Song » Summer Days by Martin Garrix, Macklemore and Patrick Stump

"Good morning, Liv," Lorenzo said when he opened the door, he was holding a cup in his hand and was surprised to see the best friend of his girlfriend.

"Morning, Lorenzo," Liv smiled widely. "Belle is home, isn't she?" She asked him. He nodded slowly and squeezed his eyebrows together, not knowing what she wanted to achieve with it. "Great, can I come in?"

"Yeah, sure?" He slowly said and let Liv in.

She politely smiled and took her shoes off before going to the living room. Isabelle lived together with Lorenzo in a small flat in the centre of the village. It was cosy, a small living room with a kitchen attached to it, one bedroom and a bathroom. Almost the whole house was in bohemian, maybe a touch of modern and sparkle of Scandinavian style. It was exactly how Isabelle was.

"Liv," Isabelle surprisedly said when she faced Liv. She was still eating her breakfast and waking up. "What are you doing here? So early?"

"It's eleven o'clock," Liv said and sat down next to her at the dining table.

"So?"

"I have to tell you something."

Isabelle's eyes widened, and she straightened her back; she was always in for gossip, or rumours about people, or just new things. "Alrighty, tell me. Spill the tea," she said while looking at her coffee, "Or coffee," she mumbled and softly smirked about her own joke. "Talking about tea or coffee, want a cup?"

"Tea, please."

Isabelle made a cup of tea, the water was still hot, so it was done in seconds. "Go on, begin." She sat down again and grabbed the bowl with cereal again to continue the breakfast.

"Lando was at Cafe Art Monday."

Isabelle pressed her lips into a cheeky smile. "He was? Why? What did he do?"

"He was working, I don't know. He spent a few hours behind his laptop. I didn't notice him until we were almost closing."

"Hmm-hmm," she nodded and quietly ate the cereal and took a sip from her coffee. "Awkward."

Liv licked her lips. "It was, yes. He tried to make a conversation, but at the end of a workday, I hate to have conversations, so I sneered at him, and it was awkward. Arthur almost wanted to send him away. Anyway, he managed to take me on a meet-up-"

"Excuse me, I need more details. Don't go too fast," Isabelle cut her off and was waving with the spoon. "You sneered at him and then?"

"I was annoyed at him because first, he has my phone, then he shows up at my last class of the year and then he is sitting in my cafe. It was suspicious to me. And I almost finished a long shift after a busy weekend with two long shifts as well, so that was playing a role too. And it was awkward because I turned him down earlier, this was the first time I saw him alone and close by since that moment." Liv wrapped her hands around the cup and looked at the tea. "And he said he wanted to get to know me and made me the promise if I don't like the meet-up or him, he won't contact me ever again. I said yes on that."

Isabelle nodded enthusiastically. "Yes, go on. You are doing great, sweetie." She pointed at Liv with her spoon.

"So we went on a meet-up yesterday."

"You fucking walnut," she blurted. Lorenzo looked up from his phone to Isabelle and had a confused look on his face. A shock went trough Liv's body, she did not see that reaction coming. "Okay, darling, I'm absolutely proud of you. You said yes this time, and that's great and all, but why haven't you told me? Who am I to you?" The tone in her voice was semi disappointed.
