Song » Just you and I by Tom Walker

"I really do have to give you back your clothes," Liv said when Lando gave her a new shirt, hoodie and sweatpants. "I will give it back next time, I promise." She gave him an innocent smile.

What was supposed to be a tea in the afternoon, turned into a dinner. The four people shared a fun night together with lots of stories about their background, hobbies, sports, studies. Liv felt welcome and comfortable. For the first time in a few months, there was no moments of doubt, her past stopped following her. Due to the late night, Lando asked if Liv could stay over for the night.

Lando smirked. "I thought I was missing stuff," he teased.

She rolled her eyes. "You haven't been home in what? A month and a half?"

"Oh, please," he dramatically said and walked over to her. He looked at her and locked his lips with her.

A smile grew on Liv's lips. "Hmm," she hummed against his lips. They fell on the bed, and a giggle left her mouth. A month and a half were long, very long, without each other. Being able to kiss Lando again was fantastic.

He pulled back and whispered against her lips: "did I already mention how much I missed you?"

"I'm not sure," she teased and peaked for his lips again.

"Hmm," he hummed and looked at her. They both giggled. "Well, I did."

"I missed you too," she let out and followed his jawline with her finger. "It was just too long," she whispered and looked at him. His green eyes were sparkling and a happy smile played on his lips. "But you're here now, luckily."

His pink lips were pressed on her lips again. Those warm, soft, perfect lips. Liv had no idea how she survived without his kisses for a month and a half. The time had stopped around them, the moment was all about them. For over an hour they cuddled, gave each other small kisses and just enjoyed laying in each other arms.

"But how do you feel? Like really feel," Lando asked and let his hand glide through Liv's hair. In the meantime, they made themselves ready for bed. The freshly washed clothes Liv was wearing was making her happy. It smelt like him.

She looked up at him. "Fine, I guess," she breathed.

"You sure? When that situation... a few weeks ago, when you missed that call, I was worried," he honestly spoke out.

"You know...autopilot is incredible. I do things, without thinking, do them because I have to. But it's more like someone else is doing it for me; instead I'm doing things myself. I do things, but at the same time, it doesn't feel like I'm doing it," she told him. He tightened his jaw. "And I'm sorry for that day when I couldn't stop crying. I didn't mean to, you probably think I'm stupid," she muttered.

"Hey, don't say that. That day...it was a dark day. I'm thankful you told me your story, and I understand you," he softly said.

She smiled. "But for real, Lan, don't worry about me. As I told you about the FaceTime, like a hundred and twenty times: I fell asleep because that project was crap. I'm fine, I'm great actually because now I see you, you surprised me, and I couldn't imagine a better boyfr...person to do that."

A smile grew on his face. "Thanks to Isabelle." She raised her eyebrows. "I know you had a girls afternoon, Liv. When I asked if you were free that afternoon, she said it was more than fine to reschedule your afternoon with her."

Liv got up and looked at him. "No way," she said, and a smile grew on her face. "You guys are amazing, I swear." She kissed him. "I really cannot thank you enough."

He brought up his hand to her cheek and looked at her. "I was dying to see you." He kissed her. "So everything is alright now?"

"Yeah, I went to Natasha more than usual. I'm fine, I promise." She laid her head back on his chest.

"Who's Natasha?"

"My psychologist." She licked her lips. "It helps to talk to her, she's there since the day it all happened. Don't worry about me, she sees when something is going on with me. And if there is, you will be the first to know."

He nodded. "Good. Oh, and before I forget to say. Wait, do you have anything planned tomorrow?" She shook her head. "Okay, but will you wake me up around ten if I'm not awake yet?"

"Yeah, sure."

"Is there no other way you can still come next week?" Lando blurted and stroked her arm gently.

She bit on the inside of her cheek to hide her smile. If Carlos spoke the truth, and he can fix something with her school, she will be there next week. "No, I'm sorry," she lied. "I already missed so much, and I definitely cannot miss this."

"It's fine."

A yawn left her mouth, and she pressed a kiss on his cheek. "Next time I will be there," Liv promised and closed her eyes.

"I know, and that will be fantastic too. We will talk tomorrow, okay? Let's go to sleep," he smiled and gave her a kiss. "Good night, Liv."

She nodded and yawned again. "Sweet dreams, Lan."
