Midna and I walk to a clearing in the forest.

I fall back onto the soft grass and look up. The clouds slowly rolled across the sky in a calming motion.

"You love him, don't you?" A small, high-pitched voice breaks the silence.

I look over to my right to see Midna laying back, looking up as well. I return my head to the sky and speak.

"I-I don't know. I feel like I'm falling for him, but he's not meant to be with me." Out of the corner of my eye I see Midna look to me questionably.

"What do you mean?" She asks.

"He's meant to be with Princess Zelda..."

"Oh, don't say that! He can be with anyone, his fate is his!!"

"I guess your right..." I felt like continuing my sentence, but a lump formed in my throat.

The next few minutes were spent in silence.

--------Link's PoV-------

As I walk in the temple, I see a maze of obstacles.

"Oh great..." I mumble to myself.

I hop onto the first obstacle and navigate my way around the maze. A spinning wooden contraption meets me and I figure that I'd have to shoot it's red eye.

Pulling an arrow out of my quiver and alligning it on my bow, I let my arrow fly and it plants itself into the middle of the eye of the contraption. The spinning slows and soon stops completely as the eye dims and cracks. It bursts into pieces and I immediately know my theory was correct.

-------Bri's PoV-------

Almost an hour had passed since Link had been in there and I was getting worried. Many negative thoughts swarmed my mind.
What if he got hurt...?
What if he got trapped...?

What if's constantly ran through my head.

I hear leaves crunch and I sit up.

There, walking out of the temple was Link...with a green orb in hand.

I jump up from my spot on the ground and run to Link. I wrap my arms around him and put my head to his chest.

"Woah there!" Link sounds surprised.

"I-I'm sorry...I was just worried about you...i wasn't thinking." I say as I pull back.

"You should know I would never abandon you....no matter what." He says quietly.

"Now! I have the orb!!" Link exclaims.

"Let's go." I say.

Midna gets up and flies over to us.

"Finally Link! You took long enough!! I'm starving!!" She complains.

"Yeah yeah. Here's some food."

He throws a can of food to Midna.

"You hungry, Bri?"

"You bet."

He tosses a can to me and pulls out another for himself.

We all quickly eat and then head out of the forest. As soon as we exit, I feel a heavy weight taken off my shoulders and I sigh.

"I'm so happy to get out of there."

"Me too." Midna agrees.

"The second orb lies underneath Hyrule in a hot place..."

"Hmmm."

"Maybe... Eldin's Volcano...? It's the only hot place I can think of..." Link suggests.

"Other than me!" I continue.

"You wish!" Link teases.

"Well, it's settled, let's get there as soon as possible!!" Midna whines.

We head off to Eldin's Volcano, which is about a day away. The sun was just about to set, it left the western sky slightly orange.

In a few hours it was dark and I was beginning to feel tired.

"I'm tired!" Midna complains.

"Just a few more minutes and we'll stop."

I mentally cheer, my feet were aching and my eyes drooped.

Link stops after a few more minutes and pulls out wool blankets.

He sets them down on the ground and Midna instantly gets under the blankets.

"Bri, get some sleep. I'm not too tired."

"What?! No, you should get some sleep. You did just finish a temple!!"

Link looks at me.

"Are you sure? I can sta-"

"Yes Link, get some rest." I interrupt him.

I knew somehow, tonight if I did sleep, I would have the same nightmare. And I wanted to avoid it. Link wouldn't die from Ganondorf, and that was that.

Link walks to the bed and gets under the covers.

"G'night Bri."

"Night." I say.

Link's movement stops after a few minutes and he begins to snore quietly.

I wait for morning to come, though it seemed the night was going to drag on forever.
