Remadora after the war

Settling in

*sunday evening*
"Are you sure you're ready to start teaching again?" Tonks asked Remus as they stood in the kitchen facing each other. They had just finished dinner and they were now washing dishes and cleaning up teddy.
"Of course I'm sure Dora I've been waiting to teach again plus we could use some extra money" replied Remus as he grabbed a washcloth from the cabinet, ran it under the tap and then began to wipe off Teddy's face and hands
"Ok then Mcgonagall said we could move in this week" said Tonks while she went back to washing the plates and forks in the sink
"Alright we'll arrange it then" said Remus as he took teddy out of his high chair and put him on the ground so he could go run around for a bit. Then he left the kitchen and went to the living room window to send a message by patronus

" Minerva I've decided to take up the offer on the DADA job, when can me and Dora and teddy move in? Please reply by Tuesday."

Once he finished speaking he sent the silver wolf out the window and hoped to get a reply quickly.

After he finished sending it he went back to the kitchen to finish cleaning up but instead when he turned around teddy was on the floor playing with blocks so he quickly asked Dora if she needed help and then he went to go play with teddy on he floor of their little apartment

*Thursday morning*

Mcgonagall had replied quite quickly( because she was mcgonagall) saying that they could move in any time before Friday morning

"Alright are you and Teddy all packed?" Asked Remus as he grabbed his wand, wallet and coat
" yup, are you?" Asked Tonks while she finished cleaning a window
" I already took some of our moving boxes to the castle so there's only a few more things. Shall we Apparate?"
" ok, I'll grab teddy and a few bags and you grab the rest" said Tonks as she picked up a 2 year old Teddy Lupin

*thursday afternoon*
After they arrived they put all the boxes and bags down and waved their wands and it all put itself away. Then they put down teddy who's hair had changed to purple which meant he was excited. They put him on the floor and let him wander around for a little bit then they scooped him up and showed him around the castle and pointed out interesting places. The first place Remus took them was the womping willow for obvious reasons. Then they all went to hogsmede together and had a butter beer and bought candy.
" so I guess this is it, this is our new life" said Tonks as she took a sip of her butter beer
"  yes, I guess so I guess it is" said Remus as he smiles at his wife and son
Together they all finished their drinks and headed back to the castle and their new home

I will update when I can but the story isn't over

Also the story gets better I'm adding this a/n after I wrote more chapters so it does get better and the chapters get much longer(most are over 1000 words)
