*remus and Tonks POV

"Remus  where in Merlins name is teddy?" Tonks Asked as she whipped around .

"I-I don't know Dora he was right here" Remus said completely stunned

It's true teddy had been right there and he'd been so excited and happy about his magic kit and cause they let him get it, but where had he gone? Had he wandered outside in to he street? Was he just in a different part of them shop? Had someone taken him when their backs had been turned? Either way they both knew needed to find their son and fast.

*teddy POV

"How do I get back there?" Teddy thought as he wandered around he streets of hogsmede. He knew they had taken a left but had that been to get to the joke shop or the lake? Maybe it had been a right? Or wait had that been to get to honey dukes. " maybe I should just go back to the joke shop" teddy thought slightly angrily cause he couldn't remember how to get there. Just as he was about to try to turn around to go back he found himself at the lake. That's good he thought as he plopped down on a big rock near the edge of the lake cause he was pretty sure he could get back to zonkos from here. So he stood up and began walking back up the hill to get to the main street of hogsmede.

Once he got up the small hill he looked around and realized that he actually wasn't sure where to go. He could go left right or straight. He decided to go straight cause it was the longest path he could see. A lot of people were staring at him walking down the street likely because no one usually sees a toddler walking around by himself, but he didn't pay any attention to them because he had a very important mission to finish. He started walking straight and got about halfway until he saw honeydukes. "I know where that is!" He said quietly to himself. He decided to go inside just in case Tonks or Remus was in there. He didn't find tonks, nor Remus but he did see Hermione and Ginny on the other side of the shop near all the chocolate, so he walked over to them to see if they could help him.

" oh hey teddy what's up?" Hermione asked as she knelt down to give him a hug. Professor Lupin had always been her favourite DADA teacher and tonks had been one of her favorite order members so naturally she loved their son. 

" where are your parents" Ginny asked hesitantly as she looked around the almost empty shop

"I don't know" teddy said as he looked towards the floor of honey dukes

"What do you mean you don't know?" Hermione said as she gently put two fingers under his chin and pushed it up so she could see his eyes. They had tears in them.

" I know where they are but I don't know how to get there" teddy said sadly as he stared into Hermione eyes

" well that's a start where are they?"

" in zonkos I think" teddy said looking at the floor again

" ok do you want me and Ginny to take you there then right now?"

" yes please"

" ok then we'd better get going" Hermione said as she stood up and grabbed Teddy's left hand. Ginny took his right hand, and they started walking towards zonkos.

*remus and tonks POV

"Where could he be remus? He can't walk that far he'd get too tired too quickly." Tonks said clearly frustrated. They had searched all of zonkos, outside of zonkos, and they were about to go retrace their steps and go to every stop they had been to that day.

" Dora I'm going to go to the three broomsticks, you go down to buy the lake and then we'll both meet up at honey dukes,ok?"

"Alright got it" tonks said as she headed in the direction of the lake. Remus set off for the direction of the three broomsticks.

*teddy POV

" ok we're here teddy" Ginny said as she let go of his hand. Hermione did the same and together they walked in to go find Teddy's parents but there was not a single trace of them

" teddy are you sure it was here that you guys were at?" Ginny said gently, kneeling down in front of him

"Yes I'm sure" teddy said as he wiped a tear from his big brown eyes

" why are you crying teddy?" Hermione asked kneeling down beside Ginny to face him.

" cause I'll never see them ever ever ever forever again" teddy said. He was now fully crying and his hair was changing colours uncontrollably. So Hermione picked him up and held on to him and whispered in his ear

" we'll find them teddy don't worry"

"But where in Merlin's name are they?" Thought Hermione silently to herself
