Remadora after the war

Now what?

a while later teddy yelled to tell her that he was done all of them. very messily but still done. just as tonks was coming around the corner into the kitchen from the living room where she had been reading she tripped on the base board and fell with a loud bang. teddy quickly looked behind him because of how loud it was.

"mama are you ok?!" he asked as he jumped off his chair panicked.

"no I think youd better go get dada from downstairs"

Teddy didn't think he'd ever run so fast in his life. The image of tonks falling kept replaying in his head over and over again as He ran as fast as his little legs could take him down the stairs to remus' little office off of his class room

By the the time he got there he was all out of breath and ready to tell remus everything that had just happened but there was just one problem. He wasn't there.

Teddy looked behind the desk and under the desk and beside the book case and everywhere else he could be but he just wasn't there

There was no note no patronus no bit of parchment no nothing. Nothing that could tell him where Remus went off to.

After a while teddy started to panic and his hair started to change to and orange red kind of color. He as panicking because he knew tonks was lying on the floor waiting for teddy to get help but now teddy couldn't find help because "help" had vanished without a trace

Once teddy had collected himself he decided that he would just have to run around the corridors and hope that he would find someone who could help him find Remus

Almost right after he stepped out of the DADA classroom and started running a bit he ran smack into mcgonogall who had just stepped out of a nearby classroom

"Professorineedyourhelpbecauseimgettingmarriedtonorrowandiwasfrostingcupcakesbutthenmamafalleddownandshesstucksoiwenttofinddadabuthegoneandicantfindhimanywheresopleasehelp" teddy jumbled out as quick as he could

"Slow down teddy, what is it that you were saying" she asked because she couldn't understand a word he had just said because A) he was speaking really fast so it sounded like gibberish and B) because she wasn't used to hearing kids below the age of five speak

Teddy took a very deep breath then sighed loudly. He really didn't have time to be repeating himself over and over

" professor, I, need, your, help, because, I, was, frosting, cupcakes, because, I'm, getting, married, tomorrow, but, then, mama, falled, down, and, she's, stuck, so, I, went, to, find, dada, but, I, can't, find, him, anywhere, so, please, help" teddy said extremely slowly but to get the point across that he was getting frustrated

"Did you look all around his office and classroom?" She asked as she took his hand and started to walk back towards his class

"Yes but there's nothing" teddy argued back as he tried to lead her away form there so they could start looking "could you maybe please do that pawtonus thing"

"The what, oh cast my patronus to look for him?"  She sakes as she pushed up her glasses a bit

"Yeah that pease"

"Ok very well" she said as she took out her wand from her robes

"Lupin wherever you may be could you please return to the castle immediately, teddy is quite a mess and is saying something about tonks falling or something of that kind" as soon as she finished her little cat patronus scurried off to find him

*remus POV
After about an hour and a half of working I finally gave up and decided to take a break and go on a walk to honey dukes to get me some more chocolate because I was all out and I knew I would need it later because of all the sugar teddy was going to get from the cupcakes

As I was on my way out the door I thought about leaving a note by then decided not to because teddy was probably either baking or napping and so was tonks so there was no point.

Once I got to hogsmede I headed straight for honey dukes and I was about to get to the chocolates but a silver cat blocked my way, I stood there for a second figuring out what was going on but hen I realized it was Minerva's patronus. uh oh.

I listened carefully to it speak and when it was done I was out of there as quick as I possibly could me to run back to he castle

After around five minutes what would usually be a 20 minute walk but I sprinted instead I arrived back at my office incredibly out of breath and panting, I found an orange haired teddy sitting on my desk holding Minerva's hand both looked quite worried.

*nobodys POV

After what felt like hours of silence professor mcgonogal finally broke it

"Oh good you've arrived I just checked on tonks upstairs and she doesn't look too well" she said as she started walking back up to their little room upstairs

"What happened to her is she ok?" Remus asked very quickly as he grabbed teddy off the desk and started to follow her up the stairs

"From what her and teddy both described she fell because she went around a corner rather quickly and her leg now isn't looking too well." She explained as she kept climbing the stairs

"Oh Merlin" Remus said as he slowed down a bit because he still had teddy

Once they all got upstairs sure enough tonks was still on the ground looking rather pale but other than that decently ok. The only very alarming thing was her leg which was very swollen and purple.

"Dora are you alright" Remus asked very alarmed as he put down teddy and then hurried over to her on the ground

"I'm fine, probably one of the worst injuries I've had but other than that fine" she said sounding slightly sad " I'll probably need to go see mme pomfrey, she probably remembers me from my time at hogwarts and all the times I needed to see her because of my clumsiness"

Remus chuckled lightly at that "well let's get going then, you can't stay here forever"

After they got her to the hospital wing mme pomfrey used a very basic healing spell and then another to help the swelling go down a bit. By the time she was down it was nearly dark out so Teddy's little wedding ceremony needed to be postponed by a week or two. He was upset at first but after a couple of minutes he was fine because he still had all his cupcakes he'd made.

Minerva has left hours ago so it was just teddy Remus and tonks but it was past Teddy's bedtime so Remus decided to take him back home so they could both go to sleep because tonks insisted that she didn't need him to stay with her all night there. Before Remus left he kissed her on the fore head and told him her loved her then he let teddy say goodnight before leaving the hospital wing and closing the door behind him.

Ok I'm back. I'm not dead don't worry just haven't been motivated. Also someone pointed out that since teddy is two hermione and Ginny should have graduated which I didn't think about but let's just pretend they're still there for whatever reason. K? K.
