Remadora after the war

The next day

Remus stumbled into the house early the next morning. Tonks was sitting in the kitchen at the table with a warm cup of coffee in her hand. Remus looked over at the clock that sat in the kitchen, it read 5:43. Tonks had told him to come home as early as he could before teddy woke up so teddy wouldn't see him all bloody bruised and beat up. Tonks looked him up and down, it seemed like he had had an easy night because the only extremely deep bad cut was on his lower left leg which tonks was able to fix with a simple healing spell.

"Sit down" tonks said as she stood up and pulled up a chair for him to sit down on

Remus fell into the chair with a thud

"Roll up your pant leg" tonks ordered as she turned around and grabbed her wand off of the countertop

Remus did as he was told. He was quite scared of tonks although she didn't look very menacing and scary never forget that she's part of the black family. Never forget that.

Tonks walked back over to him who had his pant leg rolled up. She used a simple healing charm up the cut on his leg. She kissed his cheek and then sat across from him. They talked until teddy woke up around 7 am.

"Mama I humgy" teddy said as he walked into the kitchen rubbing his eyes and holding moony. His snitch pyjamas we very wrinkled and twisted. "Can we eat breakfast"

"Hiya teddy" Remus said sounding very tired and rejected

" DADA" teddy said as he ran towards Remus. Teddy hasn't even realized Remus was there cause he was so tired. He was certainly less tired now.

Teddy jumped into Remus' arms and hugged him tight. 

"Mama told me alllllllll about your werewolf stuff and your lycathipy" teddy said as he looked up at remus and stretched his arms on "all"
" did she now?" Remus asked as he looked up at tonks and raised his eyebrows

Tonks looked at remus to see what his reaction would be. She had been very sure that telling teddy was the right thing to do in that moment. In that very moment. Last night. When he wasn't there. When she was alone with teddy. What's was he thinking now? They had never really discussed when they would tell him in great detail. They always just assumed the time would come. Apparently the time had come. Last night.

" tonks could I speak to you alone for s minute?" Remus asked as he stood up and turned to put teddy down on the chair that he had just been sitting in.

"Erm sure" tonks said as she quickly grabbed an apple and sliced it into little pieces for teddy to eat for breakfast. She then turned and followed remus to their room and sat down on her side of the bed.

"Why did you tell teddy all about wolves and lycanthropy and stuff?" Remus asked as he stared at Tonks and sat on the bed

"Because he deserves to know" Tonks responded with an icy tone

"He doesn't need to know right now" Remus said as he raised his voice slightly " he's two Dora, two. What the hell is he going to do with this information? Who's he going to tell?"

"I don't know Remus he was worried about you and he had a lot of questions so I answered them okay?" Tonks said as she stood up from the bed to face him

"But he doesn't need to know right now" Remus repeated through gritted teeth

"But he was curious"Tonks said as she glared at him

" it doesn't mean that you tell Him everything at once"

"But he wanted to know"

They continued yelling and arguing in their room about remus' condition until they heard teddy yell from the kitchen. They had forgot all about teddy while they were bickering.

"Mamaaaaa" teddy screamed

"What teddy what's wrong?" Tonks asked as she ran into the kitchen and looked all around her

"Why you yell?" Teddy asked as he looked up at Tonks with his big brown eyes

"It's complicated, what do you say we get out of the house for a bit?" Tonks Asked as she sighed and grabbed him from the chair

"Yaaa" teddy said as he began to clap

"Tonks quickly grabbed her wand and scribbled a note for Remus. She then stuck the note to the table and left out the door with teddy

After teddy had screamed Tonks had run out first so Remus decided he should stay in their room for a bit. Eventually it went quiet and Remus got curious about what had happened so he left their room and went to the kitchen. There he found no Tonks and no teddy, only a very messily written note which read:

Dear Remus
I took teddy and we left to give us a little bit of time and some space to cool down. We will be back before Teddy's bedtime so don't worry
