Wedding prep

Christmas and New Years has come and gone so fast and now it was mid January and poor teddy still hadn't realized Christmas was over so he still woke up tonks and Remus early every day hoping for the presents which never came

"Wake up its present tiiiimeee!!" Teddy shouted just like he had on Christmas morning almost a month ago

"Merlin that tears it" tonks said very frustrated for being woken at 4am every morning for the last three weeks. She got out of bed and picked up teddy and put him in bed between her and Remus hoping he would stay, which he did but he kept waking up every few minutes

"Mama, presents time?" He whispered quietly in her ear while she tried to sleep

"Just go to bed teddy" she mumbled against her pillow

"K mama"

It took a week but eventually teddy gave up on he idea of Christmas and stopped asking them up so early. He still like to sit in bed with them though

One evening after dinner had been eaten and teddy had been put to bed tonks and Remus decided it was about time they started thinking about their "wedding" again so tonks grabbed a quill and some parchment then went to sit with Remus at the table again

"Ok first thing first were gonna need a date" she started, dipping the quill in the ink bottle

"Hmmm  perhaps we should just go with out old wedding date the fifteenth of July?" He suggested

"I like that!" She exclaimed scribbling it down
"Now where should we have it?"

"How about just here at hogwarts? It's a nice place and it's simple and easy"

"Sure I like the sound of that"

"How bout food?" Remus asked looking st the parchment

"Butter beer, pumpkin juice, blueberries, maybe chicken and potatoes, sheperds pie, pudding" she listed still while scrawling it all down "got any ideas?"

"Chocolate I guess" he shrugged

"I should've known"

"Anyways how about guests?"

"Well obviously Minerva, my mom, Ginny, hermione, Harry, the rest of the Weasley's, Neville, Kingsley, hagrid. Is that it?"

"Probably a couple other staff members but yes that should be it"

"So we're going to have it on the fifteenth of July, on the hogwarts grounds?" Tonks Asked conforming while her hair changed to a darker blue "what time?"

"Teddy will probably have to go without a nap that day so how about 1-10?"

"Oh you're right about teddy I forgot about him, I spose he could go napless for one day, I like that time. Should teddy be a part of the wedding?"

"He could be the ring bearer?" He suggested "we just have to make sure we practice a bunch so he won't be clumsy and trip everywhere"

Tonks smiles at the thought of her little teddy tripping down the aisle to meet his parents at the end who were getting married again. It just sunk in for her that they were really doing this again

"Ok that's settled now we need to figure out bridesmaids and groomsmen"

Remus' face got paler trying to think of groomsmen, since he had basically no one with James and Sirius gone. When they had gotten married before it was so quick and small they didn't even have all the maid of honour and things like that but now that Remus really had time to think and he wasn't so sure

"Oh Remus... maybe you could ask Kingsley? Or Harry and Ron?" Tonks suggested as gently as possible

"I'll see, anyways enough about me how about you?"

"Well I was thinking Ginny and hermione for sure but apart from that I'm not too sure, I'll think a bit more"

It was late now since they had been sitting there for almost two hours so they were both pretty tired and decided to just head to bed, plus Remus was feeling a bit down

"I'm excited Remus" Tonks giggles while she got into bed

"Me too Dora" he replied while getting in next to her and giving her a kiss

I'm sorry I haven't updated much, I actually wrote this about a week ago but forgot about it, also school started so life sucks
