Remadora after the war

The first day continued

" ok, teddy we have to be really quiet alright?" Whispered Tonks to teddy who's hair had now changed a bright yellow
" k mama" said teddy as they got closer and closer to the door to the DADA class. Inside they could hear Remus talking about boggarts

Tonks picked up little teddy slowly so she didn't make much noise. She then inched towards the door little by little and peeked inside. Inside she saw Remus at he front talking about different boggarts and how they worked to what looked to be a bout 30 3rd years. As he was talking he stopped for just a second because he saw Tonks standing at the door with teddy( whose hair had now gone back to turquoise) sitting on her hip. As he saw this he did a small gesture for them to come into the classroom and sit on the two empty chairs in the back of the class. Tonks looked at him slowly and raised her eyebrows as if to say " are you sure?" He did the gesture again so they stepped into the classroom and sat on the chairs quietly so as not to disrupt the class.

As they were sitting there Teddy started to wriggle our of her arms so she set him down on the chair beside her and he sat there for a bit until he remembered why they had come done in the first place: to see dada! Slowly so Tonks wouldn't notice he moved towards the edge of the chair and then he slipped off the chair and started running towards to front of the room towards Remus as fast as he could.

Slowly all the students started looking towards the wild toddler who was now almost at the front of the class. By now teddy hair had turned a violet color and by the time Tonks had realized what had happened teddy was already standing in front of Remus with his arms out in front of him waiting to be picked up. Before she could run over to grab him Remus had picked him up and teddy was now giggling while sitting on remus' hip. The class was almost over so teddy stayed there for the last 10 minutes of class listening to remus ramble on and on like he always did. After class was over and all the students started to stand up and pack up to go to the evening feast teddy ran to the back of the class to see Tonks, yelling

" Did you see mama did you see?"
" yep I saw buddy"
Shortly after remus joined them and picked up teddy again
" ok ready to go back upstairs?" Asked Remus as he put teddy back on the ground and grabbed his hand
"Sure am!" Said Tonks as she grabbed his other hand

Together they walked hand in hand buck upstairs to their home after a very successful first day.
