Halloween preparations

A few days after teddy had met the hippogriff it was October 30th and the day before halloween. Teddy's first real halloween. Last year had been a disaster.

Flashback

It was Teddy's first Halloween, teddy tonks and Remus we're living in the muggle world  at the time for their own safety and tonks has decided to take teddy out trick or treating for just a little bit. Since he was so young there was only so much he could handle. Tonks has put on Teddy's dragon costume(more of a onesie) and they left the house right after dinner. After about three houses a problem arose: teddy had decided to start changing his hair color. Thankfully Teddy's dragon costume had a hood so it covered most of his head and hair but then another boy a couple years older than teddy in a spider man costume pointed at teddy and yelled to his mom "look at that boys hair mom" the mom looked confused for a second but then jokingly said that it was a cool wig and asked where tonks had bought it. Eventually more and more heads started to turn their way and tonks had to quickly leave to go home with teddy because they couldn't risk revealing that he was a metamorphmagus to all of the muggles.

End of flashback

This year was going to be great. They were in the wizarding world so they didn't have to worry about teddy and his metamorphmagus powers and this year wasn't full moon like it was last year had been. Plus hogsmede was celebrating Halloween and all the shops were giving out candys for the kids a hogwarts and that lived in the village

Teddy had decided he wanted to be a wolf this year so after they had bought a wolf costume in his size they were all ready to go trick or treating.

Teddy woke up early the next morning very ready for Halloween and all the festivities that were to come later that day.

He went running into tonks and remus' room and jumped up on their bed and starting bouncing up and down uncontrollably.

"Wake up wake up wake up wake up mama wake up dada it's hallween I'm gonna be a wolf tonight like moony wake uuupp" he yelled as he bounced around between them

"Ok good morning teddy" tonks said groggily as she sat up and rubbed her eyes with her hand and checked the clock that sat on her bedside table . Turns out being woken up abruptly at 4AM by a screaming toddler was not the best way.

"Morning buddy" Remus said as he did the same as tonks and grabbed teddy to stop him bouncing around

"It's hallween we need to go out now" teddy complained as he tried to get away from Remus

"Teddy it's 4AM we cant go out for another 14 hours. Wake us back up in 3 hours" tonks said as she picked him up and took him back to his room to put him back to bed

Ok here's the chapter I promised! I know it's short but it's more a filler chapter. Also I know it's not Halloween in real life, it just occurred in the story at this time. Also do you guys like me doing flashbacks? Let me know. Anyways thanks for reading!
